Conan Blows NBC Money: $1.5M in 1 Minute

Michael van der Galien was born in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden in 1984. For as long as he can remember, he has been obsessed with the United States. When he was 17 years old, he started blogging - of course about America. His articles have been published at Big Hollywood, Pajamas Media, Hot Air (the GreenRoom) and Right Across The Atlantic. He's also an editor for the Dutch conservative blog, De Dagelijkse Standaard.

As Conan and NBC were sealing their final agreement of separation in some sad, awkward signing ceremony in an L.A. conference room, this clip was airing on NBC: Conan proudly announcing that he’d spent $1.5 million on a Bugatti Veyron Mouse and put whiskers and ears on it — “There it is ladies and gentlemen – the most expensive car in the world dressed up like a mouse” — and soundtracked it with the Rolling Stones classic, “Satisfaction,” complete with ridiculously expensive licensing fees. Hey man, art isn’t easy. Neither, apparently, is revenge.
