Tonight, 60 minutes ran the story regarding the mess within the VA. As usual, the director had a spokeman explain why they're experiencing problems. I aasume the director was playing golf on an exotic island paradise somewhere in the muddle of the Pacific Ocean.

Two years ago, my Congressman submitted a six point questionaire to the Veterans Affairs Committee in Congress. It stated a reply was forthcoming. I am still waiting lot too many other veterans.

Republican or Democrat, nothing changes, as the abuse of American Citizens rights continues getting worse on all fronts.

Happy New Year, seniors, no raises for you this year. It's Nixon's fault, I hear.

Liz says: "We must change our perspective and fight the Left on every issue as if each issue is our last hope. Then we will win."

The only thing -- they throw "issues" at us every single day. Just when you think it can't get any more bizzare -- in comes another, such as the USPS delivering anti-anthrax drugs. Who would have thought we needed this EO 2 days before the new year? Very concerning ...

Every day is a crisis with him & his co-commies in office. And, they never let a crisis go to waste -- even if they have to make them up.

Good point, Political Moxie.
‘t is a busy season--
thank you
and Liz Blaine.
Appreciated are your POVs.

I share your concern.

My quoting the aforementioned author
had much to do with her being published
at newswithviews. Because the authors
there tend to oppose big government,
I did check the website of Ms. Stuter.
Granted that her opening topics with what
she hopes to debunk is sometimes confusing,
Ms. Blaine, she favors Freedom 21
(www.freedom21.org)
vs. Agenda 21
and its "sustainable global environment.”

She states:
This website is concerned with how children are being programmed to be robotic drones in the public (government) schools across America under systems education.

The frame to the left [categorized under "Extremist Environmentalism" @ www.learn-usa.com/education_transformation/~environmentalism.htm] also has links
to websites promoting common-sense environmentalism and exposing the agenda of the rabid environmentalists whose websites, curriculums, etc, are being used in the government school classrooms.
Interesting. You offer no personal comment and cite a blog post titled "CREDIBILITY IN SCARY TIMES" written by an avowed "activist" with "a particular emphasis on education as it pertains to achieving the sustainable global environment" and who promotes "the transformation of our nation from a Constitutional Republic to a participatory democracy." With no intent to attack the author, a cursory glance at her website shows support of her stated agenda listed in her biography. Perhaps her focus in the post you cited was biased from its start to further promote her transformation of America.

Regardless of the author's intent, veracity of my statements can be ascertained by following the supporting links within my article. The INTERPOL and USNCB content cited is found in their words, on their web sites.

As for the author's statement that INTERPOL is not an international law enforcement agency, by definition, a law enforcement agency is "an agency responsible for insuring obedience to the laws."
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/law+enforcement+agency?qsrc=2446

If you read the INTERPOL and USNCB missions and services provided, you will see they conform to the definition of a law enforcement agency.

I do not have time to address each point you made in your very long comment. I am sure Ms. Blaine will in her next NewsReal article. She is, as we have come to learn, diligent in her research.
However, I would like to address the item about INTERPOL being contacted when 'the Nigerian national tried to blow up'... I have knowledge of city, state, national and international law enforcement. INTERPOL is a clearing house for information BEFORE and AFTER an incident. The fact that INTERPOL employees come from many different countries is what makes it an international organization. Knowing that, I can only add...that international responsibility worked out well on Christmas Day, didn't it?
I have not heard or read this point addressed. Terrorist, with their kill them agenda, know when we are the most vulnerable. When you work in law enforcement, no matter the level, holidays such as Christmas, New Years etc. should be WORKING DAYS for all. If this rule imposes too difficult a hardship for you and your family, find other employment.

"CREDIBILITY IN SCARY TIMES"
By Lynn Stuter
[...]The International Organizations Immunities Act addresses diplomatic immunity;
it does not give any foreign entity, such as INTERPOL, police powers or legal powers
within the United States[...]

INTERPOL is not an international law enforcement agency. As stated above, INTERPOL
facilitates cross-border police co-operation regarding criminal acts that are international
in scope. For instance, INTERPOL would have been contacted when the Nigerian national,
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, tried to blow up Northwest/Delta flight 253 on approach to
the Detroit, Michigan airport. INTERPOL would facilitate the exchange of information
between foreign law enforcement agencies with information on Abdulmutallab and U.S.
law enforcement agencies seeking that information; INTERPOL is not a law enforcement
agency in and of itself; it has no police enforcement power in any of its member countries.

It is true that INTERPOL has been granted complete and utter diplomatic immunity within
the borders of the United States. However, diplomatic immunity does not equate to giving
INTERPOL police powers over American citizens; diplomatic immunity is only granted if
INTERPOL is in good standing and abides by United States law concerning diplomats
residing on American soil. If diplomatic immunity is rescinded, due to offenses against the
United States or its citizens, the offending party has a choice to either leave the United
States immediately or be arrested and prosecuted under American law. Diplomatic status
can be revoked for any number of reasons including acts of war, spying, or criminal acts
committed under American law. Over the years, diplomatic status has be revoked a number
of times for diplomats in this country, resulting in their immediate expulsion from this
country.

The claim that "They are not subject to any Constitutional limitations within the United
States"; that they can operate "outside of the Constitution" and American law is utterly
false. If an INTERPOL agent showed up at your door, he/she would be risking expulsion
or prosecution for breach of diplomatic immunity.
