Colbert’s Cardboard Conversation with Obama Says It All

“No man is an island,” says Stephen Colbert in his show prelude, “but I have one hell of a peninsula.”

Colbert began his show on Comedy Central recently with a look at President Barack Obama’s trip to Norway earlier this month to accept his Nobel Peace Prize, which is now apparently being awarded for top-notch political rhetoric. Our President may not have a peninsula to brag about, but he certainly has a hefty set of boulders to accept this award.

The “conversation” between Colbert and President Obama provides a comical illustration of the farce that was the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.
