Thank You Progressives – Malaria and DDT

A child dies of malaria every 30 seconds somewhere in the world. That’s roughly one million children every year. Malaria is a preventable disease. In fact it was eradicated world-wide in the 1950s as a result of a global campaign conducted by the Rockefeller Foundation. The eradication was achieved by the application of DDT to kill the mosquitos that carry the infection. DDT is a harmless insecticide but that didn’t stop Rachel Carson and the the environmental fanatics from condemning it as a threat to the world’s bird population in the what was the biggest global hoax ever perpetrated before the current warming hysteria. Naturally Al Gore regards Rachel Carson as a saint (which is the way he views himself). Sanctimonious progressives are in fact the enemies of the malaria children (who are 95% black) as they are the enemies of freedom. Something to think about this holiday season.
