Michael van der Galien was born in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden in 1984. For as long as he can remember, he has been obsessed with the United States. When he was 17 years old, he started blogging - of course about America. His articles have been published at Big Hollywood, Pajamas Media, Hot Air (the GreenRoom) and Right Across The Atlantic. It does my taxpayer’s heart good to know that governments all over the planet are siphoning wealth from those who produce the reliable energy that’s keeping tens of thousands from freezing to death on this frigid December night, just so they can piss it away on renewable utter failure.

The company in charge of a California project to extract vast amounts of renewable energy from deep, hot bedrock has removed its drill rig and informed federal officials that the government project will be abandoned.
