Who are YOU Calling Dumb? Palin-Basher Joy Behar Thinks “Black Friday” is a Racist Term

2009 December 1

Joy Behar is supposedly a comic.  It’s hard to tell, as the only time she’s really funny is unintentionally.  Can you really build a career from that?

With a voice that makes The Nanny sound as sweet as Ella Fitzgerald, and a manner that makes a frontier mining camp madam seem like Grace Kelly, Behar has turned irritating into an art form.

And if you really want to hear her at full-out bray, just bring up Sarah Palin.   Here are a couple of notable examples.

“She is SO dumb”

“She is not coherent.  The woman cannot construct a sentence.”

So this smart, coherent daytime gabber on the day after Thanksgiving, turned to Whoopie Goldberg, her co-host on ABC’s The View, and asked with all seriousness, “Isn’t it a little bit racist to call it “Black Friday?”

No, she wasn’t making a joke– except out of herself.

Whoopie, had just cracked that it was “Black,” motion to her face, “Friday, all day long.”  When Behar asked her question, she at first seemed to think Behar was merely making a lame follow up to the joke, then did her best to cover for the embarrassing ignorance.

GOLDBERG: Oh, hello and welcome to ˜The View.’ Today is Black Friday, all day long,” And I’m going to stay black all day because of it.
BEHAR:  Isn’t it a little racist to call it Black Friday?
GOLDBERG:  [laughing] Well, I would have called it African American Friday, but that’s taking something away from it.
BEHAR: [still serious] But there’s a negative connotation to it? Or does it mean something else?
GOLDBERG:[patiently]  No, it’s like when you make all the money – you’re “in the black.”
BEHAR:  Â So it’s positive?
GOLDBERG: Yeah. It’s in the black, so it’s a huge great thing.
BEHAR: A lot of times, like blackmail is negative, black sheep.
GOLDBERG: Black people.
BEHAR: No, not black people.
GOLDBERG: But it used to be, it used to be.

I’m not a big fan, but you have to have some professional admiration to the fact that Goldberg was able to keep a straight face and not add anything to Behar’s humiliation as this imbecile dug herself ever deeper.

If you can take it, below are the clips that the above Behar quotes came from.

My guess is that Sarah Palin knows Black Friday, black coffee, black crayons and blackmail are not racist terms.

The View had Tina Fey on to talk about her parody of Sarah Palin. While SNL really didn’t have anyone as attractive as Sarah Palin, they didn’t  have that problem, here.  Check out who plays Behar on Saturday Night Live, it’s dead on perfect.

If you can watch a complete clip of The View, you have either my sympathies or my admiration.  I’m not sure which.  All I can say is, where is Robert Preston when his country needs him?

I am not sure, but I think an amoeba has more brain power than Joy Behar and Whoppie “rape rape” Goldgerg has combined. Whats truly amazing is how these 4 or 5 women can repeatedly make fools of themselves everyday.

The lame-brained “ladies”(?) of The View…I don’t think so! They lead such vain, wasted lives. The best contribution they could make to society is to pass on over to the great “View” beyond..or below whichever the case may be.

Thanks to the Internet I don’t have to watch The View to enjoy the absurdity of the program and its panel of cackling hens, something that the clip from “Music Man” reminded me of.

So, rather than waste good time watching “The View,” a program which I already know is absurd, I can still see the loonacy that they portray on their program when various online bloggers underscore the “ladies’” mental agility (ha, ha!!!!).

Question: Are the viewers at home as brain dead and stilted as the panelists on The View?

Question: Whic is more serious, “The View,” or “The Jerry Springer Show?”

Tough questions to answer, I know, but there is extra credit for the correct answer (If there IS a correct answer), or for the most entertaining reponse.

Joy Behar is like a super feminist who wants manholes to be called “person-holes” and other man stuff to be called “person-stuff”. How do you NOT know what Black Friday means. Think of it. I’m suprised Joy Behar (as a red head) didn’t go off when Whoopie Goldberg talked about going into the red means nothing and going into the black is the profit. Man, Whoopie Goldberg looked like a freakin’ genius. I’m actually gonna say this. Thank you Whoopie, thank you for talking sense into that idiot Joy Behar, who believe Black Friday is racist. She should have said, “is the color black, racist?”. Or “is black coffee racist, or is black hair racist?”. If she would have said that, I would have laughed by giant *** off. Whoopie Goldberg showed a lot of common sense in that.

The problem with Behar’s allegation of racism is exactly the same as with 99% of all allegations of racism…first, ignorantly allege racism…second, investigate to see if there really is racism.

The term is so causally and frequently thrown about that is has almost lost all meaning. If the left’s goal is to chicken-little the term until it is ignored, then they are well on the way to succeeding.

One night on Behar’s HNL show during the week of November 15, 2009 she interviewed George Pataki, former New York Governor and then she interviewed Anthony Weiner, Congressman from New York. The two men were there to talk about terrorist Khalid Shaikh Mohammed”s trial to be held in New York.

During the first interview Pataki said the trial should NOT be held in NY and was explaining the problems with national security and leaks. He gave an example of the trial for “blind sheikh” (Omar Abdel Rahman) where Rahman’s defense attorney was given information and that information was leaked to Al-Qaeda very quickly.

Behar decides it’s time to make a joke.

BEHAR: Can’t we just do something about that type of leaks? I mean, why can’t he be in solitary confinement without a Blackberry? I don’t understand why that leaked.

Side note: Behar starts laughing at her own joke. Pataki doesn’t react to Behar’s joke and continues trying to explain the seriousness of leaked information and military tribunals to Behar until she cuts in to end the interview.

Next, Weiner was brought on and explained why he thought the trials should be in New York. As he’s finishing his explanation about a serious subject Behar decides to try her comedic skills again.

BEHAR: Alright, well I hope it’s not a circus like the OJ trial was. I don’t think I could stand to see Marsha Clark again. Hahahaha Kidding!! Kidding, congressman.

Side note: Again laughing at her own joke while Rep. Weiner gives a tight lipped half smile, half grimace and shakes his head back and forth once. He was probably wondering why he even bothered trying to have a discussion about an important subject with such a boob. Behar continued to chuckle at her joke as they cut to a commercial.

Behar is not a good interviewer. She’s not very knowledgeable on political issues and when she knows she can’t have an intelligent conversation she resorts to trying to make jokes… And then laughing at her own jokes.

One more side note: Several times during her show you can hear crewmembers/staff in the background give loud guffaws when Behar tells a joke. Is that person paid to do that on cue to make sure the audience realizes that Behar has told a joke? I’m just saying………

The Jerry Springer show has to be. What other show allows the idiot guests to actually brawl on stage to support their position. It would be nice to see The View go on Jerry and “debate” with representatives of some other radical organization (like the Jerry guests in an Austin Power’s movie). Now there would probably be some real entertainment. Afterwards the View girls could show their goods to the audience for their Jerry beads.

    “Nothing New,”

Do you know of any program for women that presents a conservative side of life and issues, while not being as absurd, offensive, and presenting women as virtually brain dead and childish and ignorant as the View presents them?

I know of no such program.

That is another reason that I think the “entertainment industry” and the meda is overflowing with left wing, fifth column, liberal, Democrat, Socialist, Communist points of view, as they seem to sing only one song, with only one note. A sort of “One Note Samba” if you will.

Of course Conservative women and men are out and about active, accomplishing things, planning things, executing ideas and seeing them to fruition, watching over their children, learning, building, and so on, and are less likely to even spend the time watching such drivel as “The View.” For one, they are too busy getting on with their lives, and for two they are not attracted to such crap! Also, the leftists, liberals, Socialists, Communists, Fifth Columnists, Democrats are too busy filling their heads with leftist, fairy tale nonsense and actively trying to take away the fruits of the labor of the conservative, productive, working, getting-things-done contingent of the US Citizenry, while also trying hard to push the killing of innocent human beings, paid for by the taxpayer, via induced abortion, while calling the opposite of Reproduction “Reproductive Rights.” They are also too involved with taking people’s rights and freedoms and security away to bother to work and protect those freedoms or to work and earn their own way, which is why they always try to steal from those who are productive.

So, regarding the question “Is there such a program that approaches life from Conservative values, mores, and point of view,” what say you?

    David;

I was referring specifically to Whoopi’s IQ vs. Behar’s.

Having a high IQ doesn’t always make one “smart” as Ted Kaczynski demonstrated.

She was hysterical on the academy awards broadcasts when she worked with Robin Williams & Billy Crtstal. You have to be pretty sharp to keep up with those 2 guys and she certainly did.

Again, I was only pointing out that her intellectual capabilities, on the rare occasions when she chooses to use them, far exceed Behar’s.
