Apparently neither had mentors either able or willing to instruct them in this fundamental principle. Or perhaps their egos were so inflated that they felt themselves to be above the trials and tribulations of mortal men (and women). If Shakespeare were alive today he would compose two fascinating tragedies about these two men. Lesson for Barack Obama and Tiger Woods:

I didn't say whether it is wise policy or not to escalate or withdraw. My post simply points out that Obama's Leftist base is turning on him as they feel betrayed by his anti-war campaign. Now he is beginning to find out the hard way the difference between campaigning and governing. Thank you for your service and your kids' service to the country.
