Comparing Hitler and Mohammad: both were power-lusting narcissists and racists. Add to Mohammad’s character pedophilia and illiteracy. Hitler was the better writer. “Mein Kampf” is fluently written and forceful. Hitler lays out the reasons Germany was in the mess it was in, who was responsible, and what he intended to do about it. The Koran, on the other hand, is a disorganized hodgepodge full of Mohammad’s rantings and threats. Mohammad changed the Koran as he gained power. After his death, chapters and verses of the Koran were put together in various places by other power figures.
Both books have the same evil feeling about them. They are anti-life, full of threats, full of hatred for non-aryans and Jews (“Mein Kampf”), and hatred for non-Muslims, Jews, and Christians (Koran). Both show personalities that revel in power.
Robert Spencer’s “The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran” is one of the many good commentaries on the Koran. Spencer breaks through all the fuzzy propaganda about Mohammad. He tells how the Koran was written, points out contradictions, historical mistakes, etc. jd

I saw numerous “Mein Kampf” books translated in italian, exposed and sold in bookseller’s shops during my holidays in Lido di Jesolo,facing Venice, about 10 years ago.
I remember that the Austrian far-right leader Joerg Haider, 1950-2008, visited the same place and it’s said that the keys to the Jesolo town were symbolically presented to him.

A madman’s ramble through an emotional, psychological, intellectual landfill. The stench rises like swamp gas. But — everything he planned to do, pretty much, is in there. You just have to wade through all the dreck to find it; not an easy task.

Exactly!!! Our own not-so-well-read society would be absolutely astonished seeing in print that Hitler (hmmm…and let’s see, who else?) felt that connecting with an audience emotionally was the way to win their vote; never discuss positions, issues, your advisers or accomplishments (or lack thereof) speak only of feelings your audience needs to connect with–like hope and change!
I can’t believe what I am seeing today. I am not wasting any more time lamenting, though. I am looking for the ideal country to move to since America, as defined by the Constitution, is ceasing to exist.

Thank you, Mark. I was aware of him but having taken the time to read this article I am truly shocked. He may have been worse than all the Nazi war criminals put together and certainly worked in a widespread manner. It seems his influence can explain a lot about today’s events.

Mein Kampf is a best seller in the Moslem nation of Turkey too. I’ve tried to read parts of Mein Kampf, and its quite a badly written boring book. The next time you hear Moslems whining about civil rights in the U.S. and racism and discrimination, think of this news item.

Considering the fact that Bangladesh is 90% Muslim, ranking 4th in number of Muslim adherents after Indonesia, Pakistan and India, this isn’t particularly surprising. I take it as further evidence of the truth that Robert Spencer is continually trying to disseminate – namely, that the Koran specifically instructs followers of Islam to kill unbelievers. Jews and Christians are part of this hated class, of course.
