[...] David Horowitz asserted the essentially intellectual nature of Conservatism: “Conservatives are best organized around an issue. (They) are generally already committed to religions in which the savior is not government, but a divinity. Barack Obama and the socialist juggernaut he heads have persuaded conservatives that they are prepared to destroy everything Americans hold dear. So there’s no real problem in organizing conservatives now, just focus on an issue…” [...]

Jan Shaw's comments regarding voter fraud need to be taken very seriously. We have one senator already in Washington because of such fraud. And Acorn has contributed to the election of others about which we'll probably never know for sure. Let's put our heads together and see what we can collectively do besides making sure that Acorn and all of its allied chapters are gone for good.

AND TO ALL I WISH A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY, and to my God, thank you for all you've given to me.

Glenn Beck has an opinion program on FNC, as does Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. It has not, nor ever has been, a straight news program. Do you really not understand the difference? If you wish to be taken seriously, you might try to think before posting.

I think voter fraud is a major issue, especially in close election.

My son had registered at home when he turned 18.
Later registered at his college address (and voted there not home)
Graduated and moved back home - discovered he was still registered here.
He thought that they automatically removed one when you registered elsewhere.

If an honest person can accidentally register to vote in multiple locations, how easy would it be for a group do register multiple places and vote in them all? The ease of early voting and absentee voting makes things even worse.

I did write my congressman with a suggestion to have a federal clean-up of the voter registration lists. Have not heard anything. Nor do I understand how it is done now. Perhaps we should make this an issue - it is closely related to the ACORN scandals.

Like I said in a previous comment, it is time to take the gloves off and put up our dukes. Politness and want of communication does not work with the Progressive movement. Therefore it is time to turn up the volume and get in their face with the exact tactics that they used for decades. We must adopt a "collective" survival mentality and plan our actions accordingly. Progressives are effective because they view the importance of the collective success to be paramount over the individual. We must become a collective of Americans formed to correct a direction of this country that is contrary to our foundations. If we do not unite, we will never succeed against a foe that will destroy anyone and anything to enact their goals of a communist government ruled by elites. Donate money, give of your time and show up at meetings and demonstrations. Join organizations such as 9/12 project and others and become involved as a voice to be reckened with. Turn up the heat and make them very uncomfortable and miserable. THEY DO count on complacency and lassitude. Look at the hell they have created in only 10 months and make a decision to get involved. If you wait, you lose.

Thank you for your comments to the Tea Party Movement. You are correct, the Left has no idea of just how large this movement really has become!

How much should we be worried about voter fraud? Are the electronic machines secure and do they produce Accurate results? There have been several issues regardig their security. Or can they be "fixed" to rig an election? If so, what can we do to correct this?

Hey TT -- better check with your fellow fascists -- ooops, sorry, progressives -- that's not what they think. Is your head stuck where the sun of reality doesn't shine?

Canada, as most Americans know, has government enforced medicare. My son, 22 years old and attending university, seriously injured his knee. His physician recommended an MRI, and suggested that surgery would likely be required. He will not be able to get an MRI for nine months because of the lineup ahead of him. Isn't Medicare wonderful? Fight, fight with all of your strength against socialized medicine. Physicians are not slaves. You are not responsible for your neighbor's health. Obesity, for example, is mostly self-induced, but leads to massive health problems. How do you feel about paying for medical treatment for someone else's self-induced illness? Government medicare is wrong because it requires the use of force: it forces physicians to accept pay dictated by burocrats and politicians, it forces taxpayers to pay for the medical treatment of complete strangers, it forces the rationing of services, and it forces future taxpayers to pay for the illnesses of the previousl generation.

The 'destructive generation' is an apt term. My husband was talking with an Indian colleague the other day, who observed that the boomer generation has always talked about unifying, but he has found them to be divisive, argumentative, and with a shocking inability to compromise, work for the best solution, or abandon their anachronistic, but closely held values. We see this in our President, Congress, and the entire shadow government.

Breast cancer would be a great start, with the health care bill and recent change in mammogram schedule. It's already a big "cause" and would seem a good one to work with.
We must be careful to keep focused on what we are fighting for, and not get absorbed in the fight itself, as Horowitz described in "Destructive Generation". They seemed disappointed when Vietnam ended and the cause was gone. If they had been sincere, there should have been great joy.
