David, I want to hear more from this lady. It’s amazing how she set those Oil Company’s on their heels. How she took down those corrupt career politicians. Why had know one before her done that. I don’t feel that we have given her a fair shake in the lower 48. I just want to know more of that side of Sarah Palin. The media has put her in this box and created this unfair image of her.

Someone said Girl Scout,referring to Gov. Palin. From what I have researched. Big Oil can tell you that this Lady means business, they quake when they hear her Name. And she won for Alaska. She is an Energy GURU. She’s already got her foot in that door. She took down some corrupt players in her Party. Is that not the kind of person that we would want to consider as confident. You know I’ve never been one to believe or put alot of stock in what I hear or read in the press. In my quest to know the truth about this woman, I’m finding some very impressive, gutzy accomplishments out there. Why would we not want to know more about someone like that. Maybe she could do for America what she did for Alaska. Maybe after we get past all this same ole same ole,party beakering, name calling. We may just listen to what this lady has to say. We certainly are not getting any reassuring news from Washington. Its actually embarrassing to watch it.

clean up the corruption, (in her own party first), get the natural gas pipeline started (after the 5 previous governors did nothing but talk about it), cut billions of $/pork from the budget, plus more of her campaign promises in 2 and a half years. She then stepped out of the firing line, to let the lt gov (also elected/not appointed) take over, minus the constant distractions/bogus lawsuits that effectively made her ineffective thus saving alaskans millions more $ as well as thousands of man/woman hours. with Sarah it’s always the same put the gov’t where it belongs, working for the people not vise versa.

no wonder she po’s professional political insiders on both sides of the aisle, but motivates the “Mr. Smiths” who understand that they are supposed to work for us. In a nutshell read the book or recuse yourself from critisizing it

I don’t know if she’s ready to be President at this point, but in my mind she has better experience than a community organizer. Obama has had many years of coaching and indoctrination by radicals who detest this country. They have trained him well. He was blessed with intelligence and oratorical skills. But he is a Marxist, he hates America, he hates the Constitution, and he hates the Military.

Sara Palin did not have the benefit of Ivy League schools, or tutors in conservative principles, nor was she blessed with the gifts Obama has, but she is honest, sincere, and believes in the values and principles upon which this country was founded. For me that’s worth much more than eloquence without substance, and the ability to deceive and dissemble. If she ran AGAINST McCain in 2008 there’s no question in my mind that I would have supported her. McCain was a bigger loser than Bush and the Republican Party needs to learn how to select leaders rather than selecting candidates that pander to constituents and elitists simply to get elected.

I hate to burst your bubbles but if the Republicans trot Sarah Palin out for 2012 then you will most likely get another 4 years of Barack Obama! Mrs. Palin is not nearly as popular as most of you wish to believe.

Personally, I like Sarah Palin but I would never vote for her. Being a mayor in a small town in Alaska and resigning her position as Governor hardly leads me to believe she would be good for the office of president.

It looks like I’ll be voting for a 3rd party….. again!

Another Liberal hypocrisy. Leftists for years have engaged in the redefinition of the English language to suit their agenda. The current ‘political’ definition of Rogue is ‘someone who bucks their party and thinks outside the box’. Can’t always have it your way Lefty Lewie!

An example, I’m a liberal, in the classic sense. I despise big government and believe people have the God given right to pursue their dreams without interference, as long as they don’t trample the God given rights of others.

What Sarah Palin has shown so far is that she is “different.” Not much more, really, and I say that liking her personality, freshness and eagerness, rare these days in those seeking high office. That she was a state governor is a plus, but not right of passage to what we think is the most important job in the world. That she also is a woman should not even be a factor, despite our predilection for firsts. Many are already expressing dissatisfaction with the current President, but care is needed if we seek alternatives. Mrs Palin is smarter now, coy to tease and use media speculation to test the temperature of the voters. Her path of “doing what is best for America outside party structures,” will test her commitment, time enough for us to determine if she is the right one, after all.

We can’t send a girl scout to Washington DC! The Senators and Repersentatives would steal her cookies. Every citizen in this land knows Senators, Representatives, and Presidents don’t spend millions of dollars to get elected for just a salary that would take 20 years to equal their campaign spending. They all become selfless humanitarians once they get into Washington DC.
