Palin’s book tour “is dangerous,” claims the left wing group’s director Mitch Harris, presumably with a straight face.
Well, it’s been dangerous for Palin, who’s had eggs thrown at her by… leftist troublemakers. The same kind of leftist troublemakers who promoted the phony story about Palin banning books in Alaska libraries. These guys are all about the First Amendment. Yep.
Oh, and Stewart wants to raise $500,000 to “push back against Sarah Palin and her allies.”
Stewart should get together with the Anti-Defamation League, who just declared Glenn Beck a threat to national security. You remember the ADL? They predicted that Mel Gibson’s movie The Passion of the Christ would spark anti-Semitic pogroms across America. Which, uh, never materialized.
Can an Al Gore campaign against, say, Carrie Prejean be far behind? Don’t laugh: do you have any idea how bad breast implants are for the environment?!

These organization seek money to employ the poor under false pretenses. The only people that stand to gain from this action are the ones raping this country. If after more than 40 years of this political nonsense, the poor do not realize they are only pawns in this game, how can they be enlightened to that reality? They accept money to quiet the very voice that speaks out for them.

Disagree that the right is using Sara to make money. She gives freely of herself because she believes in the conservative movement. She knows this country is heading down a very wrong road and speaks out against such a tragedy.
At least the Left is finally admitting that it’s afraid of Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin has legal bills of a half a million dollars to pay. These are the result of harassing lawsuits brought against her while governor of Alaska by Democrats as legal harassment, with the intention of bankrupting her. The suits were falsely accusing her of ethical violations. The reason she resigned was that she hadd to spend so much time and money on the suits that she could not do her job as governor. That advance will let her pay off the legal bills the Democrats forced on her by their barratry.
That they wished to destroy her so is evidence that the Democrat insiders fear Palin. And why shoudl they not fear her? She appeals to ordinary Americans. She comes from a blue-collar background and has worked with her hands and head in business, including the dangerous business of deep sea fishing (very dangerous in the Gulf of Alaska). And she has considerably more executive experience than the Apologizer-in-Chief has even now, after a year in office. Condemning Sarah Palin as being unqualified for the presidency is irrelevant. The precedent of Obama’s election means that one need have absolutely no qualifications for the presidency, except perhaps to be at least 35 years old. In any case her stints as successful reform governor and as mayor ought to count. That’s more than Obama had.
People can look at the situation the country is in and see that the elite bigshots have got us into a mess, and the current crowd of Harvard and Columbia grads are working as hard as they can to dig us deeper into the hole we are in. Common sense from someone like Palin soon will look like the best answer to our problems. She is very knowlegeable about energy issues, and she fought corruption in Alaska. Comparing that with the corrupt incompetence of DC, getting even more corrupt as the Obama Administration brings Chicago rules and mores there, will make her even more attractive to voters. Yes, the liberals are quite correct to fear Sarah Palin.
Now how pathetic is that? They’ll use any excuse to squeeze money out of the dumbed down liberal idiots and they’ll contribute like the sheeples they are.
Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air in the political scene and at east is honest enough to tell it like it is and not obfuscate and hide behind slogans that mean absolutely nothing.
She was harassed and attacked for no reason other then her being popular and liked by the people. She added the spice and vibe that McCain didn’t have and hasn’t got. He’s proven to be a shill that does absolutely nothing for the conservative cause and hasn’t supported the many that are protesting in many different ways. Sarah Palin is. More power to her.

I met your site by accident, while browsing around. I’m not sure if it is really healthy for me to be reminded of how far from the real world the fringes of the American right now stand. I do understand that the insulation provided by your affluence and very big munitions may muffle your grasp on reality, but to much of the rest of the planet (of whom I am one) you are fairly terrifying, and can evoke a response that is hostile, when we stop laughing. Try to learn the facts about making health care available, about ensuring vulnerable people can be supported, about the necessity of taxation. Do join us on Earth.
And why exactly do you believe the government , SEIU, ACORN, , Obama etc are the appropriate vehicles to establish your Utopian daydream? Why exactly is Palin excoriated on all the wonderful media outlets of the left? She is not a candidate. She received a $1.25 MILLION advance for her book.
Levi Johnston claimed her whole reason for abdicating the Governorship was so that she could start taking some of the money people were offering her.

Why shouldn’t she recieve 1.25 million as an advance? It’s standard procedure for book publishers to pay advances. And why shouldn’t she make money off of her labor? In this case, her labor is her book.
