Mr. Cooper,

Please;

" the widespread terrorism of radical Islam"?

Why do so many folks, folks who should know better, continue to refer to the behavior of jihadists as the result of 'radical' Islam?

Anyone who has done their homework knows that we are dealing with the teachings of traditional, orthodox, authentic Islam--as it's written.

We can't win the battle if we don't accurately identify the foe.

The difference between the Westboro Baptist Church and "Radical Islam" is that virtually every other congregation in the United States has disavowed the Westboro clan as nutcases with ZERO credibility; while the so-called "moderate Muslims" of the world cry out rarely, and dispassionately, at any of the atrocities accomplished in the name of Allah.

Besides, none of the members of the Westboro Baptist Church have posted videos of their members beheading their political opponents.

You forgot to mention Phelps ran for office many times on the Democratic Party ticket, and that he is an insane leftist.

He even has a DTN page!

It is clear "critical studies" techniques, e.g., answering a question, with question, endless, meritless criticism of a given subject, and equivalence reasoning, is the primary way the liberal mind runs interference for Islam.

Islam by it's nature thrives on the apparent quandry created by its status as a religion, and the plausible deniability it enjoys regarding the violence it continues to inspire.

It seems one way to look at the problem of Islam, is to consider the classic argument of wheather or not television inspires violence. Consider the millions spent by advertisers to directly, and successfully influence the attitudes of consumers to see that this contradicts the liberal assertion that TV does not influence behaviour. In fact is can be said that the general argument that the media does not shape public opinion is a big lie.

Clearly, there is a cause and effect relationship that must hinge on the realization that like TV, Islam is here to stay, and like TV, perhaps it is then possible to minimize the violence it inspires by shaping the minds of the Moslem faithful, and general public, around the idea that Islamic violence is not Islamic at all.

This may be only one level of the reasoning involved, the real purpose of the left's resistance to any criticism of Islam is clearly the symbiotic relationship the left shares with Islam in destroying this nation.

You forgot one thing:

Fred Phelps is a registered Democrat. Even SPLC doesn't try (very hard) to hide it:
