I believe it is possible to have a personal relationship with Christ and receive the benefits His Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. The contrary nature to the Spirit are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred (sedition,) discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like. We have freedom to do as we like, but the consequences of indulging in the contrary spirit of biting and devouring each other, raises the possibility of destroying each other. "Love your neighbor as your self." Love is patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, is not proud or rude or self seeking or easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs or delight in in evil but rejoices in truth. Love always protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres. In marriage, there is freedom in love, and there is safety. Personal relationships require efforts that reflect our love or they cannot endure the threats of life. Contrary spirit is seldom challenged as it is already in step with evil. Christianity is all about self control rather than controlling others; however it requires a strong defense. I do not consider myself religious; I believe that I am frequently subjected to the contrary spirit as a human being; and consider myself as a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Could Carrie Prejean have disclosed that she had posed for nude photos and made sex videos (8 videos, 30+ photos according to latest reports), and deliberated with pageant officials to decide if she was eligible to compete? YES, by all means. Did she do that (the correct thing to do)? NO. We will never know what the pageant officials would or would not have accepted/agreed to, which would have been their prerogative/legal right. AGGGAIN, to themadjewess: it has NOTHING (that would be NOTHING) TO DO WITH GOD AND RELIGION.

Again, to themadjewess: I am NOT a Christian. I am a NON-believer of ANY religion. Period. An employer who terminates (at their discretion; their prerogative) an employee because they did not disclose info - per requirement of the application (they vary from business to business, you know) - does so justifiably and legally. And, again, this has nothing to do with god or religion. It has everything to do with the employer's rights/protection. Any business deal that includes a contract has terms to be abided by. Failure to do so (breach) is grounds for termination. This is true of just about everything, including job applications, car purchases/rentals, apartment/house leases, anything to do with banks/finance, etc., and, yes, pageant contracts. What has god/religion got to do with business practices?

And I don’t mean judged in a religious sense (I do not believe in religion'

But, you ARE acting as if you ARE G-d. Conservative values will show this young woman love, and kindness, religion or no religion.

'Everything to do with lying, deceit and fraud and the employer’s right to deem you unfit for the job. Period.'
-----
Please allow me to make myself perfectly candid. Your job as a person of the Christian faith, is to show love and compassion to this young lady at this time in her life. Is she not cut off enough, and punished enough? Is this how your faith operates?

Forgive me, sir, but I do not believe in kicking a dog when its down, and I am not a wishy washy person.

* NOBODY * said what she did is right by any stretch of the imagination, (I would have let her go myself) but it has been mentioned here on this board, that the people that should be showing, at least kindness, must be people of the Christian faith, and they have failed. I don't believe that MY G-d is one that seperates 'religion from work'. He is omnipotent. G-d does not leave people stranded in the darkest hour, NOT the G-d I know.

"They will know you, by your love you have for one-another?" Whether she did right or wrong, why can you not show love, is it all that hard?

Let me rephrase part of my previous comment (for themadjewess): instead of saying *I judge her, etc.* it should have been, *she should be judged by her lying, etc.* And I don't mean judged in a religious sense (I do not believe in religion; so many of them and they all think that their's is it. Rediculous). Think in terms of applying for a job. If the application asks for disclosure of certain information - stating that nondisclsure is grounds for termination - then you sign the app/contract fraudulently by lying and not disclosing the info, you are justifiably terminated. Nothing to do with religion or forgiveness. Everything to do with lying, deceit and fraud and the employer's right to deem you unfit for the job. Period.

'I will, however, judge her on her fraudulent, lying and deceitful actions'
---------------
So, she is beyond your Christian forgiveness...
Whats the scripture in the bible? "He who is without sin among you, cast the first stone?

I suppose you are perfect, in no need of forgiveness, and you are a big man, and she a 'dirty-trallop' eh?
Well, lets hope G-d will look upon you with the same kindness and 'forgiveness' that you have given this young woman, in the midst of the media already tearing her life apart. ^5.
