Monica,you are right on this one. Muslims do need to be offended.They need to acknowledge that
there is some element of their religion that’s the basis for act of violence by many of their fellow Muslims.The silence among Muslims is deafening when Muslims kill their own and others.They either
deny or play the blame game.

Wineplz – Great post, but I do take issue with your statement “Thankfully, since most people understand the difference between the average believer and the extremists…” As far as I’m concerned, the belief that there are “good” and “bad” moslems is the precise reason why we’re faring so poorly in our efforts to awaken our fellow citizens to the peril at our doorstep.
The simple truth of the matter is that all moslems are bad guys. Of course, only a very small percentage perpetrates violent acts like this despicable Fort Hood atrocity or 9/11; still, what is the position of the “silent majority” of moslems on the issue? What happened to Malkin’s islamic yoke-fellows at the mosque? Why did none of them alert the authorities? We see this distressing scenario played out ad infinitum and ad nauseum whenever these tragedies occur; abortive conspiracies are never the result of information brought forward by informants within the islamic community, but always as a consequence of the committed and sophisticated investigative techniques of our brave law enforcement and military personnel.
For those who have not already done so, I most strongly recommend that they read Mr. Robert Spencer’s most recent publication “Stealth Jihad.” The author proposes, in my view perfectly correctly, that the menace to our tolerant, pluralistic and democratic societies does not come in through the front door by means of the spectacular carnages inflicted upon us by the bin ladens and attas, but rather through the back door of financial domination and usurpation of our government and civilian institutions. It is quite probable that the stealth jihadists are very unhappy with the conduct of the militants, as their actions draw unwanted attention to the goals of islam, which are at present quietly and quite efficiently being met by the simple process of outbreeding us kufr at the rate of between three and four to one.
The technique is as old as deception itself – the old badger game, the “good cop/bad cop” routine.
Mein koranf, as opposed to the sacred writings of all other major religions and belief systems, such as Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Ba’hai, Humanism, etc., etc., preaches no “golden rule,” but rather unadulterated venom, spleen, hatred and misogyny.
Why have we been unable to “tell it like it is?” Our parents and grandparents had no difficulty in unequivocably denouncing hitler, tojo, mussolini and stalin; what on earth is our problem in clearly, succinctly and publicly denouncing islam?

It used to be considered wise judgment to use “discrimination” when deliberating a choice. Now it is, of course, racist, and therefore impossible to apply intelligence to a situation. Of course, now that almost any task, proposal, or statement can be framed in terms of racism, there is no escaping being a racist no matter how hard you try not to give the real, or imagined, impression thereof.

I propose that everyone who loves their country accept the mantle of “racist”, ignore the shrill tones of the brainless left (hello George Soros), and move on toward what really matters, which, in the case of the Fort Hood tragedy, is rooting out extremists and terrorists regardless of their origin.

I think the major Hasan shooting rampage is one of many incidents thats becoming a common story in the military, sadly it’s not just muslims solders thats killing their fellow solders.The frequency of these events are apparent, there where warning signs that where ignored.I think some of those incidents could have been prevented if the military acted on the warning signs.One thing that could cause the military to overlook the warning signs is,when they tell the solders to suck it up, if there’s a mental or physical injury that the solders dealing with.

I don’t know about others, but I know that my 84 years, in the Army and before and after, did not prepare me to accept Major Hzasam’s traitorous terrorist act as simply a singular, untoward event. And although I am sure that there are Muslims to whom such acts are anathema, the vermin are present within the Muslim society in the United States and must be rooted out–no matter what manner of Political Correctness has encouraged commanders, such as General Casey, to try to excuse traitorous and murderous acts such as the one perpetrated by Major Hasan. I have begun to question whether the Army in which served during three wars, between 1944 and 1973 , is no longer the one I knew. The General is failing his troops and is no longer a trustworthy commander. He should retire.

Media Matters and there pals at all the left wing alphabet networks really no longer matter. We are talking life and death I am offended that this murderous adherent of the religion of peace was allowed to remain in the military while his cowardly superiors knew of his radical views. Call me insensitive but I am for a moratorium on importing any more possible terrorist till we get a better handle on this thing and yes I understand that Hasan was native born.
