I can't imagine that a "general" in our country could be more concerned about "diversity in the military" rather than the deaths of 13 of his service men and women and the wounding of over 30. What kind of leader is he? I not only question his qualifications but his patriotism.

Our leaders who bought and paid for our freedom would be more ashamed and shock that I am because they paid the ultimate price of loss of treasure and life to preserve freedom for generations to come.

What kind of military soldier isn't more concerned about his soldiers than a terrorist? How many 9/11's do we need to have before people like him realize that there is an enemy that wants to destroy us? When will he decide that his job is to protect and defend the people of the Untied States and not those who want to destroy us?

I call for the resignation of this traitor, so-called, General Casey. I hope that this gets directly to him. He is a disgrace to his country.

This "Professor" was probably one of those Human Relations Instructors in the Air Force that was written about previously.
Get the politics and the politicians out of the military and spend more time preparing for the mission of the military.
I find it hard to believe that Gen. Jones, our former Commandant, can be associated with this fraud who calls himself "Commander-in-Chief". It's sad, but there's a lot of people out there who will prostitute themselves for power.
However, if you're having a real bad day, just remember.....There's a Mr. Pelosi out there someplace.

Denise;

You're wrong about the army...

Officers in the army can be broken down into 2 categories, the warriors, and the chair warmers (also known as REMF's)

Patton was a warrior, as was MacArthur..

Casey has never been a warrior. That's not meant to imply that he's a coward, he's not. He just has a different perspective on things than those of the warrior mentality. Casey has both a bachelor's and master's degree in international relations. His father was the highest ranking officer (Major General) to die in the Vietnam war . He was commissioned right about the time his father was killed.

I see Casey, as a soldier who was "destined" to wear stars. Considering his father's "heroic demise", he may well have been driven to eclipse his father's 2 stars, with 3 or preferably 4 stars of his own.

When an officer starts his career motivated primarily by the desire to achieve high rank, he necessarily becomes a political animal. Knowing Casey's background therefore

I believe that by understanding his background, the reason for his recent actions becomes plain to see.

My guess is that his ultimate goal is to be chairman of the JCS.
