I am very thankful actually that Media Matters posts what they do, as I can’t listen during the day (I teach) and don’t want to pay for a subscription. Any time Kathy says Mark sat in for Rush, I head on over to Media Matters to read their summary of it. I get a few laughs and few good points. Great stuff. Thank you Media Matters: priceless!

I don’t get to listen to all this radio. I am amazed that Kathy can do what she does, summarizing the shows and posting highlights. Always a good heads up for the rest of us.
Steyn is great filling in for Rush, but I think it might nail him down too much to be on the air all the time. I certainly wouldn’t want to do without his guest appearances.
I think that as it is with Media Matters not even attempting to refute points it is actually worse than doing nothing (for them). Since I already know that they don’t try to discuss the statements and issues, why would I or any one else go there?

I’d like to see Mark Steyn on the air full-time. He can’t replace Rush, but how about O’Reilly? What an improvement that would be ! Steyn has actual BRAINS and sound philosophical principles. How can we hear more of him?

I don’t get to listen to the full Three hours of the Limbaugh shows, but I do spend my 30 minutes on my lunch break sitting in my truck listening to as much as possible of the show. My daily dose of Rush helps me get through the work day. When Mark Steyn is filling in for Rush, I find myself wishing my 30 minute lunch break would last a little longer. Mark Steyn brings up a broader view of whats taking place across the pond in Europe. There’s certainly no let down when Mark fills in for Rush. In fact, Mark Steyn is like a breath of fresh air. And in this time of Politically correct global warming, a bit of fresh air is certainly well appreciated. Thanks Mark!

I noticed they like to attack any Conservative with a bat. Like their PiÃ±atas for the beating. They create a festive air like a party while lawyers, lying MSM, & picked Obamites beat there foes till they spew the verbal candy to use against people who treasure individual Liberty.
This group has nothing to do with news . Its an attack & slander organization tarted up to look like an official purveyor of Information. In this case its douchbag Socialist central misinformation hammer, while the Democrats play the stolid anvil.

I caught most of the Rush’s show – guest-hosted yesterday by Steyn – on Rush’s podcast, to which I subscribe. I’ll listen to the remainder of it this afternoon on my iPod while at the gym. Kathy’s points are well-taken. The statements Media Matters cites are anything but controversial. They are typically articulate statements of fact from Steyn, of whom I am a HUGE fan. His wit and cogent analysis of current events, mixed with copious references to the arts never cease to entertain me. I always make a point of listening to Rush’s show when Mark guest-hosts it, something I’m much less inclined to do with other guest hosts. In fact, I’d say Steyn’s commentary is every bit as compelling and entertaining as Rush’s, which is high praise indeed. These Media Matters morons evidently can’t think for themselves or have no interest in doing so. Steyn ROCKS – no question about it.
