I see it not as Ailes' influence as BOR positioning himself to better avoid the bloodbath this administration is hoping to achieve with their complete take-over of all information outlets. After all, Ailes approached Beck about moving to FOX and has made no attempt to rein Beck in as CNN Headline did. Bringing Lou Dobbs and John Stossel on board. No leash on Hannity. And, hell, even Greta is growing more forceful in her criticisms! But I did notice that right after BOR poopoohed the "fairness doctrine" concerns during the election, he took his own radio show off the air, and his defending of Obama increased about ten fold.

You can't really blame P-BO for the 'speech' he gave after Ft. Hood. It was the best campain selection he could come up with when pressed for time. The guy is not president material. He's just a campainer, slash community organizer, slash apologist, slash RADIACAL!

Islam is not a religion. It is a complete way of life.

A complete way of life in which religion is only one part. A complete way of life in which man-made law must never conflict with Islamic religious law (the Shari'a); in which the command to amputate a thief's hands comes straight from the Qur'an (God's literal word, Muslims believe) and in which He has decreed that a woman's testimony is worth half that of a man's, and in which the directive to murder apostates was issued by Muhammad, himself.

No rocket science here. Islam, as it's written, is antithetical to democracy and because of the inseparability of the Shari'a, it is absolutely incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. Yet, despite what any of us can read for ourselves, George Bush--and so many others--have totally misrepresented the issue, repeatedly telling the American public that Islam is peace.

And American Muslims are so thankful!

For as a result, journalists and politicians never challenge them to explain how, as Muslims, they reconcile the obvious differences between what the Qur'an demands of them and this nation's legal backbone: the constitution. They are never asked to explain what, to them, takes precedence in their lives: the shari'a or our constitution. To claim the constitution pits them against other Muslims. To claim the shari'a pits them against the vast majority of Americans. They are living a lie--as Muslims and as Americans--and that is the reason they do not publicly renounce the behavior of their literalist co-religionists. After all, as blasphemers, they'd spend eternity in Hell.

In pointing out those Muslims who serve in America's armed forces--in order to 'prove' that killers like Hasan have hijacked and perverted Islam's true, peaceful teachings, idiots like Geraldo Rivera blindly obfuscate the obvious: those service members are neither devout nor pious.

Although I dislike the phrase 'moderate Muslim':

Moderate Muslims are like Catholics who use artificial birth control methods. Neither is in full compliance with the tenets of their respective beliefs.

When it comes to Islamist Radicals, like Major Hasan, the MSM is absolutely petrified of incriminating Muslims or their Holy Book in any of the thwarted and realized terrorist incidents which have been reported consistently between 911 and today. Even Fox News, in many respects the only objective news source available today on television, tip toes very gingerly around stories involving Muslims and Jihadists. Even their commentators are very circumspect in dealing with such stories. O'Reilly, for example, always gives the perpetrators the benefit of the doubt (something he does regularly with Obama as well).

What is it about Islam and Muslims that intimidates and frightens even Fox commentators? In fact, none of the conservative talk radio hosts ever speaks about Islamists in the same harsh tone applied to conservative adversaries. And yet, the Islamists are every bit as dangerous, if not more so, than the most radical statists in DC or the media.

There are many incidents in which Islamists have attacked their detractors, famous and ordinary people alike. Are Fox and others afraid of defamation law suits from CAIR or are they afraid of the threats to their existence, not only as media businesses, but as mortal human beings? If so, then the violence which we all know the Islamists are inclined to inflict on their detractors, is a threat to which we are responding with cowardice and political correctness. Political correctness and excessive caution will not save us from the fate that the Islamists have in store for us. Our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan can not save us for the enemy is now within our borders and will prey on our cowardice and delusions until they inflict another 911, except the next time it will be worse because they have set their sites on destruction more devastating than the last time.

Between Obama and Osama we cannot afford to become victims of political rectitude or lack of courage. How many Americans will have to die or be maimed for life before recognize the perfectly obvious truth that Islamists have only one objective - to kill or enslave us all?

I believe, sincerely, that the ominous truth is that BO and NP and HR and the other eclectic engineers of atrocity are fully aware that they are in big trouble at the polls in the next election. That is what, I believe, is driving them to fast track their power grab to disable any efforts at stopping or even slowing them. You are, indeed, correct about the "fast BRUTAL action," and it truly "is going to get bad, very fast."

While they speak of their concern for the welfare of the American people, it is Liberal-double-speak. Their only concern is for their own welfare. Nancy P was growing a very fat ego as her aiders and abettors were heaping laudatory fallacies upon her. None of them have ever had to operate on the need to "earn" funds or power. They simply use their positions in government to rule...not serve.

When private enterprise lacks funds it must make adjustments to provide service or goods at attractive prices it can afford. Government of the BO persuasion seizes its funding from private enterprise and citizens...whether they can afford it or not. All they need do is speak in lies and do so convincingly enough to attain the position and misguided trust of a very naive/ignorant public. Then pass confiscatory laws of power, property and pay; laws from which they exempt themselves.

It's especially deceptive that they scream "corporate greed" when the most dangerous greed of all is that of corrupt government and a willing populace. They are the very definition of greed, in that they want, without earning, what others have earned. Their "hope springs eternal" that they, in concert, can accomplish what no other regime in history has been able to do...gain prosperity through oppression the actual working segment of society. They do so completely oblivious to the established fact that the ones working hard and creatively will cease to do so when most, or even all, of their incentive is removed. The incentive is a fair and just reward. THAT IS NOT GREED, it is justified compensation.

I am not wealthy, by any means, but I do not seek any other man's wealth...it belongs to him...it is not mine!

Never has it been more true that those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. "The Dumbing of America..." anyone? It seems that it might have been a deliberate and "greedy" underlying plan all along.

Rogert,
I do believe that part of the requirement for being able to run for political office is have a previous history of actually working in the private sector and experiencing the life of the American public. Obama could not even run a lemonade stand. His inexperience is staggering and incomprehensive to those of us that have actually chosen to listen to what he and his cronies say and watch what they do. The rest of the Obama worshippers will find themselves in a place of real hurt when Obama no longer needs their worship or loyalty. This scenario has played out many times in history and never learned. We should all look to the Progressive/Maoist agenda pushing forward with ever increasing speed. Now that the public has started to oppose the agenda of this administration, fast, brutal action will be their tools for inacting the changes they desire. It is going to get bad, very fast.

That would be a good theory if you hadn't seen O'Reilly's "Talking Points Memo" or his interview with Geraldo. That really was the line he was pushing, you're giving him too much credit.

I have to admit, when I watched BO come to the mike after the shooting, I quite seriously wondered if he even knew about it yet. He began thanking everyone for being at the meeting and various trivialities. It was almost like he didn't consider it worth his time.
