I was all set to write about Sean Hannity’s Great American Panel segment of November 4th, where he discussed abortion with Ralph Reed, Steve Murphy, and (strangely) Alison Rosen, an entertainment writer.
Then I heard about the extermination in Texas.
Stay with me for a second on the Hannity telecast though, because the machinations of the Left all tie together.
As you might expect, Murphy and Rosen had a hard time explaining why THEY PERSONALLY found the process of vacuuming a fetus out of a woman’s uterus abhorrent, but thought it was only right that they defend someone else’s wish to do the very same thing if this “other person” thought it was OK.
It was sort of like watching a novice philosophy student grunt through the prescribed list of exercises:
“Umm, let’s see…I really AM against shooting an old defenseless person in a wheelchair, but if someone ELSE wants to do it (maybe they have to take care of Granny and Gramps and it’s inconvenient) then it is only correct to LET them. Is this a factual statement?”
Situational morality – easy outs, don’t offend anyone at any cost thinking – is why America is in such a jam on so many fronts.
And the slaughter at Fort Hood only reaffirms how dire the situation is.
This “Don’t piss off the Muslims” psychosis that David Forsmark discusses in his Meltdown With Keith Olbermann Part 14 isn’t just confined to Olbermann or his pal Chris Matthews or any of the rest of the cowardly cable pundits who like to pin-stick easy targets (Rep. Michelle Bachmanns’s Republican Moms.) It’s EVERYWHERE, in most or not all of the accounts of the massacre I read today, and it is just one more sign of our almost total acquiescence to the The Religion Of Death.
(Thank you Glenn Beck.)
Don’t fret about the Huffy Post, who waited until paragraph TWELVE of their story to discuss the Fort Hood Jihadist’s religious practices – they are simply the paper-airplane version of MSNBC, and most reasonable people are aware of it.
How about a good ol’ Midwestern tried-and-true, the Saint Paul Pioneer Press? Yeah, it’s populist liberal, but it’s not New York or Los Angeles, right?
You had to read all the way to paragraph Nineteen before the very first mention of Islam, with it being stated prior that the “Motive remains unclear….”
Are you kidding me?
How about growing up, citizens of America!
Because it’s going to happen again. And again. How we deal with it will directly affect our survival as a nation.
