Your approach, using If You Give A Mouse, is timely. Fifty-eight percent of Viriginia women voted for McDonnell — someone the WH had chosen to vilify over a college paper that, to the WH mind, put women in a subservient role. BUT, women, arguably the household budgeters, broke for McDonnell in a BIG way.

Women understand what all of these new taxes, intrusive healthcare policies, and destruction of our economic system means to their families, and they are voting their pocketbook.

A Federal commission on Interstate highways. However all work involved in building and maintaining them must be put out on bid to private companies, with the Fed merely fulfilling a watchdog position… sort of like building inspectors …

Wouldn’t it be refreshing, if the big news of the day was a contractor caught cheating on a project to the tune of of a mere $1,500,000 ?

As usual, the queston comes down to this. What Constitutional authority does Congress have to force people to buy health insurance and to be in the business of health insurance at all?

The Constitution clearly limits the role of the federal government and yet Congress and presidents have been usurping these limits for decades. It is time they stop.

The public roads, public libraries, and public trash pickup you speak of mainly is the responsibility of local governments, not the federal government. You’re pretty absurd for bringing that up, but distortion is what liberals do best.

The Feds should downsize everything they touch. It is obvious how inept they are. Compare federal roads conditions to local ones. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Postal Service, etc., all things the feds touch, is broken beyond fixing — mainly because they don’t want to fix them for political reasons. This is all fairly common sense, but when I read your posts, it is clear you have uncommon nonsensical view of the world.
