Hey Tar And feathers. When did you get a job as In the Know’s Ed McMahan.

“Har har har… yes! Good one In the Know. You sure showed him.” You, Mr. Tar and Feathers, are a sycophant’s sycophant. I salute you!

Professionally, I am neither a political pollster nor a strategist nor a pizza delivery person but I do appreciate your subtle racist overtones. Based on your commentary, I don’t think you are political pollster or a strategist either so we have that in common.

Now onto In the know:

Touché on the move on sponsorship. It’s there in black and white. I missed it. That being said, why shouldn’t moveon.org sponsor a poll to gauge public opinion on an issue they are interested in? The fact that it was carried out by an independent polling group does lend much to its credibility. Additionally, the wording of the questions are clearly posted. The one question that deals specifically with the public option is this:

In any health care proposal, how important do you feel it is to give people a choice of both a public plan administered by the federal government and a private plan for their health insurance--extremely important, quite important, not that important, or not at all important?

Frankly I don’t find that wording to be leading at all. 71% of Republicans polled found the public option to be extremely or quite important as did 86% of Democrats and 71% of independents. I would call that statistically significant.

Now let’s move on to jgreene:

“Conservative values are held by a large majority of the American People. If the Republican Party can rid itself of the liberal RINO dregs and support conservative candidates, in 2010 it will sweep the Socialist Marxists out of power in the Democratic Party now in Congress.”

HAHAHAAAAA!
The Republican party is on death’s doorstep. Trickle-down economics, the cornerstone on the modern Republican Party, has failed utterly. The only thing losely holding the Republican Party together is a few bumpkins holding on to a quaint notion of the good old days when everyone went to church whether they believed in God or not and expoused virtue while they frequented brothels or seduced their secrataries. These RINO Republicans you refer to are what many of us would consider Non-Nutjob Republicans. If you get rid of them, you will be left with a truly fringe party with no chance of willing another election. Here’s what ABC had to say about it.

ABC News reports that the GOP is finding itself in challenging political times: "Only 20 percent of Americans now identify themselves as Republicans, the fewest in 26 years. Just 19 percent, similarly, trust the Republicans in Congress to make the right decisions for the country's future; even among Republicans themselves just four in 10 are confident in their own party. For comparison, 49 percent overall express this confidence in Obama, steady since August albeit well below its peak."

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the American People led by Tea Party Members and small "c" conservatives are going to make a MAJOR IMPACT on the body politic.

I'm very proud of Americans like Doug Hoffman and Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachman. The future is going to be more Americans turning back to Citizen Representation and defeating professional, kleptocrats in Congress both Democrat and Republican.

God Bless America! Let's Roll!

Political differences aside, I have to point out the absolute comic genius of Guido and also the recognition of good humor by David Swindle.

I have been laughing to the point of tears from this post. Well played to both of you.

While I too find polishing of knobs, silverware or any other metal to be tedious, I fail to see how suggesting that “In the know” helping a fellow Republican with household chores could be construed as disgusting. I suppose it may be linked to Republican elitism and an aversion to manual labor. Perhaps that could be construed as disgusting. Thanks for helping me understand the error of my ways. I shall endeavor to keep these comments in check in any future postings.

Oh, so THAT’s what you meant. Yeah, I’m sure.

But I suppose since you made me laugh with your amusing explanation I’ll let it slide.

Thank you for confirming my point. Faulty analysis based on faulty facts equals failure. It's what happened to John Kerry in 2004. Kerry supporters were so blindsided they're still trying to figure out what happened.

Conservatives can only hope that Dem party strategists remain as clueless as Guido. Rock on dude.

Since, as usual, you can't produce any credible sources or actual arguments you have once again resorted to calling me stupid. With that argument style you should see if you can get a job as a Fox News commentator. Good luck in your endeavors.
