Does SEIU Boss Andy Stern Run America?

2009 November 2

Andy Stern, president of the radical Service Employees International Union (SEIU), has visited the Obama White House at least 20 times this year. As Stephen Spruiell notes at NRO,

“Stern has openly bragged about the SEIU’s $61 million investment in Barack Obama. It certainly bought him a lot of access.”

This prompted Glenn Beck to wonder aloud on his TV show today if Stern is “controlling our country.” Guest John Fund of the Wall Street Journal added, “Politico.com, which is a moderate publication, says Andy Stern practically lives at the White House.”

Reports the Los Angeles Times:

Moreover, Stern has enjoyed considerable entree to the new administration — starting on Inauguration Day, when he joined Obama and the new president’s family on the reviewing stand outside the White House to watch the inaugural parade.

Stern estimates he visits the White House once a week. SEIU officials talk to senior Obama advisor Nancy-Ann DeParle about healthcare — a top priority for Stern — and to Obama aide Cecilia Munoz about immigration, Stern said.

“We get heard,” Stern said.

Stern was trained at the radical Midwest Academy founded by Heather and Paul Booth. The academy was founded to teach left-wing community organizers how to promote social change and infiltrate the labor movement.

The 2 million member SEIU has strong, longstanding ties to ACORN but has recently tried to distance itself from the group. SEIU international secretary-treasurer Anna Burger shocked political observers Sept. 30 when she told a congressional hearing that her union “cut all ties to ACORN.”

One of SEIU’s locals, 100 in Louisiana, is no longer affiliated with SEIU, the union says. Local 100 is headed by ACORN founder Wade Rathke. Local 880, headed by ACORN insider Keith Kelleher, was merged into a larger local, but Kelleher still heads the merged local which is called SEIU Healthcare Illinois & Indiana.

Andy is the puppet master working directly for George Soros. In the end, this chain of command will be exposed and expelled. Where the puppet falls shall be of his own choosing for he could cut the wires any time he wants to but soon would be the best choice he could make.

He is surrounded by curious agents to keep him in line, though.

SEIU and those corrupt Wall Street Benanki’s and other tax cheats are now running things. Those outside of the street or a union hall will be left with nothing but the bills.
Barry Soetoro has created the perfect storm, a collusion of big labor and Wall Street. The rest of us be damned.
2010 if you can wait that long. A sniper rifle if you can’t.

all that thebama promised during his campaign and during in inaugural address is being played out with the kind of swiftness that only this historic moment in time could allow. this is a mandate the left feels they have achieved through the kind of election chicanery that put him in office. come on now, do you think that ANYTHING will stop this march toward the socialistic nirvana they feel is their destiny? anyone who voted for this fraud suspended logical reasoning. ask anyone who voted for him and feel your jaw drop as they spin a tale of what they think they heard…..
i distinctly remember hearing him state with pride and with certainty that he would have community organizers at the table along with his cabinet members….. these are scary times but i’m heartened by the american spirit… i hope it stops this forward push by these anti-american creatures who are running the country!

It’s simply incredible how the worst of the far left, has open access to Obama, anytime they want it. I thought Obama was going to punish Wall Street, instead of repaying them for their gambling? That’s a good deal, isn’t it? Go gambling(Wall Streets insane and risky financial instruments)lose money, and then demand that the casino(represented by the American invester and taxpaying public)pay back your losses. Where’s Bill Maher on this crap, or Keith Olbermann, raging and spitting insanely as he did on Bush for eight years? I’m not asking because I support Bush, I didn’t. But what’s all this hypocricy going on with the Dems?

    Mr. Stern,
You need to stay our of my White House and stop talking to Obama
    the Socialest.
The people of the United States do not want Government controled
    health care.
Unions have no right to interfer in the Government, it is
unconsttitutional. So keep your nose out of the Government and
    out of the White house.
Unions should all be shut down.

You had some big time Democrap politicians that forced many banks to make loans to people that were not qualified for those loans Barney Frank for one. I think it was called the Comunity Reinvestment Act where people that normally could not qualify for a loan these nuts forced lending institutions to make those kind of loans. Some of them were adjustable rate you know what was bound to happen and did happen. Tons of them defaulted on those loans. They even got jumbo loans it was mostly directed at minorities and low income. My wife and I both worked and made fairly good money but we bought a modest home and never went to Cabo or on the Love Boat we had a large bath tub instead hell we did not really take a real vacation till my son was about 17 because we worked all the time. The politicians got the cart before the horse. You save and then buy. I have not bought anything but new cars for 30 years but we never financed those cars for more than a year because my wife could figure interest. You save make a big down payment then do not carry that note for more than a year. But to many people want it all right now. One car we bought a Honda Accord we put on a credit card because we got 1% back for my nephew. Then my wife went paid for more than half of it before the end of the month and got a loan at 2% to pay for the rest. You have got to be creative never carry a damn balance on a credit card. Use American Express you have to pay it off every month and you get great points you can use for all kinds of stuff. In honesty my wife handles the business side. I always hated it but hated the idea of paying interest more so I always pushed against that.

    Thank you,
Most of us that grew up in the 1930’s do save and then spend for needed items first then pleasure purchases last. Even some educated by us learned this sense of responsibility, but unfortunately many live the same way our politicians do, by spend first and figure out how to pay for it later if they can at all.

To me, save and then spend is what a conservative is all about. I think most folks think this way when you ask them, but they do not hold true to their beliefs. Same with politicians.

The new ones are fine when the go into office, and THEN LORD KNOWS HERE COME THE DEALS AND THEY START CHANGING, BECOMING PART OF THE PROBLEM.

How is this problem solved? The answer has to be no more CAREER POLITICIANS.
Term limits for any one office period. No second chances for that office. If you cannot get a consensuses for your idea’s within that term limit, they are probably not what most of us want any way.
Also NO SUPER RETIREMENT PLANS. Retire on Social Security or what they make in the privite sector like the rest of us, then they will make sure that funding for S.S. is substantial.

    JUST MY WORD
