Lord Monckton Trashes Al Gore's Global Warming Nonsense
Lord Christopher Monckton (pictured above), former UN Ambassador John Bolton, and Glenn Beck examined Al Gore’s shoddy global warming science and hypocrisy, along with the dangers of the Copenhagen climate treaty on Beck’s Friday TV show.
Monckton said the treaty would lead to global government. The powers provided in the pact are “enormous,” he said. “They are greater than any government has now.”
Lord Monckton challenged Al Gore to debate him on the science of global warming. Addressing Gore, Monckton said, “and if you don’t dare, I want you to remain silent about that subject forever from now on.”
Of course Gore won’t accept the challenge. Others have asked Gore to debate the science of global warming and he’s consistently refused to do so.
He has much to lose — financially and otherwise.
How is Gore trying to be a climate change profiteer? Essentially, he wants to make a fortune by creating a new market for a product that he is attempting to create by legislative fiat. If he succeeds and carbon emissions trading comes to the United States, Al Gore will be uniquely positioned to cash in. He’s made sure of that.
Gore himself is chairman and founder of a private equity firm called Generation Investment Management (GIM). He says the London-based firm invests money from institutions and wealthy investors in companies that are becoming environmentally-friendly, to use green parlance. GIM appears to have considerable influence over major carbon credit trading firms: the U.S.-based Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) and the U.K.-based Carbon Neutral Company (CNC). CCX appears to be the only firm in the U.S. that claims to trade carbon credits.
As a politician, Gore speaks warmly of transparency. But as GIM chairman, Gore has not been forthcoming. Little is known about his shadowy firm’s finances, where it gets funding and what projects it supports.
Given that he already has the media and much of Big Business on his side, Gore must believe it pays to shut up.

He first was stunned anyone should question his authority, then evaded the question by asking another question…”I suppose you dont believe polar bears are exstinct either?” The fellow answered, quite right since there are more polar bears now than was 30 years ago!” Old Al and the whole audience laughed even though the fellow is RIGHT on BOTH counts. Three days later, Alaska filed a suit against the Feds to take polar bears OFF the endangered species list.

It’s fascinating how people who are in denial about global warming are so offended that Al Gore invests in the things he believes are important. Yet strangely the billions being made by coal companies and causing billions in health problems and ruined landscapes are somehow OK. Coal companies also spend millions on disinformation PR campaigns using the same firms that did such a good job in discrediting the connection between smoking and cancer.
I had the pleasure of being present in St.Paul when Lord Christopher Monckton presented his very clear condemnation of the theory of Anthropomorphic Global Warming with the truth of scientific data and clear demonstation of the data manipulation that claimed support of the theory. I added to his data the life supporting role of CO2 in human physiology and its translation into oceanic acid-base stabilization that permits life to exist. Combine the condemnation of life perpetrated by complete malignant falsehoods supported by the Supreme Court wrong labelling of Carbon Dioxide as toxic to humanity and the Courts decision to permit invasion of the pregnant human uterus to destroy the environment essential for normal growth and development and we now have legal support for crime against humanity. The failure of the opposing political party to call down this human travesty aligns them with this horrible crime against humanity. This is no lnger just a political battle. These government officials should be called to task and reverse their destructive actions. Ovee three million humans have been sacrificed by political lies, misconduct and fracture of their oath of office.

Lord Monckton’s conclusion that those identified by the leaked emails are ‘crooks’ appears prima facie conclusive and should be referred to the Metropolitan Police for the fraud to be investigated.
Global warming has nothing at all to do with Al Gore. It was common knowledge in climate science in 1971, long before any of you or he ever heard of this, that the long term average earth surface temperature had been appearing to show an upward trend for between 50 and 100 years at that time. The questions posed in graduate school climatology class then were, “is it real?” and “if so, what is the cause for the upward trend? The argument was made, and could not be refuted at the time, that the trend was an artifact and not a real trend. A real trend, if any, was hypothesized to be due to earth solar geometry variation (aka, “natural cycles”), or solar output variations, or atmospheric CO2 absorption of infrared reradiation. In 1971, there was not enough data to rule out or rule in any of these hypotheses, many of them fifty years old already at the time. In the period since 1971, paper after paper was published in AAAS Science, arguing some point and presenting some data. It was clear by the 1980s that the trend was definitely not an artifact – the numbers were going up too much to be doing so by chance alone. The globe was, on the average getting warmer, and had really been getting warmer all along, for at least 150 years. There had been some short cooling periods, mostly after some big volcanic eruption somewhere. In the 1990s, computers powerful enough to calculate the variation in insolation (solar energy input) due to the variations in earth-sun geometry were made available to climate science. By the year 2000, after a lot of study by a lot of climate scientists, it became clear that the warming trend was highly positively correlated with increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration and was actually weakly correlated negatively with the geometric effects on insolation. In short, we really should be cooling, but we are warming, despite the “natural cycles”, in proportion to the doubling of CO2 in our lower atmosphere. Natural cycles account for the ebb and flow of glaciers, but do not account for the lack of glaciers 700 million years ago, before coal formation began. By “natural cycles” alone we seem to be 75 million years into a 100 milion year cycle, with a glacial maximum due in about 25 million years. All of this was demonstrated by Jim Hansen and many others, published and reviewed, and favorably received, before the inauguration of George W Bush. Al Gore did not know about it, and you all did not know about it, but climate scientists, a lot of other scientists, and science news aficionados knew all about it, way back then. Since 2001, there has been a concerted political effort to manipulate the science about global warming and to obfuscate the issue. Most of the opposition voices in the media would have been laughed right out of my climatology class for not knowing their geography or their physics. So would some of the supporting media voices, especially those appealing to weather as “proof” of global warming, which weather cannot be. Al Gore is just a high profile messenger, nothng more, not really qualified to debate the issue on its merits. For that matter, neither are most of you.
Monckton should not be trusted. Monckton is a distorter of history and science.
Nobel peace prize? This is easily the least deserved man of the prize that comes to mind. Anyone can say that something, such as the earth's climate, which changes in reaction to the sun's activity, is actually a natural disaster in the making, when really it is simply nature taking it's natural unstoppable course. Global warming is a natural and harmless situation. The world hasn’t ended the hundreds of other times the world has warmed slightly and hasn’t ended all the times it’s cooled slightly. What we ‘dissidents’ know that snake oil salesmen like gore and his ilk have, are and will take advantage of faulty information to their advantage. Man has very little to do with the earths conditions, as much as our tiny little egos will allow. I believe the we care more for the earth than do the alarmist ,due to the fact we believe, that man can, and has, improved his science and to the betterment of life on earth and in time will make the earth a perfect and clean place. However making man take steps backward will only prolong the hazards and make it so much harder to fix things.

In the latest obstacle on the road to the UN summit in Copenhagen next month, Senate leaders ordered a five-week pause to review the costs of the legislation. In a move to stem the Republican protest, and quieten Democrat critics, the Democratic leader in the Senate, Harry Reid, said he would ask the Environmental Protection Agency to spend five weeks reviewing the potential costs of the bill.

In all of Gore’s time in Nam, he never even went to the latrine on his own, unless he was accompanied by his permanent 2 man team of bodyguards… And if you remember correctly, whenever he was photographed, he always had his rifle over his shoulder, as if he was getting ready to march of on a patrol……
