I am concerned about the environment but I am more concerned that the emotional potency of everyone that wants to so desperately protect our planet may be misused to create a one world government, the members of which are not elected by the people of the world. In Australia we are talking referendum because it is about time that our politicians started to listen to us the people instead of pretending to be our mummy and daddy telling us what is good for us as if we are their children.

Recently I began writing to our politicians and newspapers with the same message….

Are we a nation of Sheepeople or are we a nation of thinking People?
The wisdom of Benjamin Franklin in his 1722 essay was “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” may be said to mean that if we sacrifice liberty for security, we risk losing both.

To my knowledge no government anywhere has had the fortitude to ask its citizens their permission to be a subject of the emerging invasive security controls of electronic fingerprinting, scanning of the retina of the eye, and the naked body scanning of the masses – every man, woman, and child identified and numbered.

You may disagree with these treatments, however if you wish to engage in certain ‘FREEDOMS’ such as ‘travel’ than you may be granted the ‘PRIVILEGE’ provided you give up your ‘RIGHT’ to your ‘privacy and dignity’.

Our nation began with people being transported as if all were criminals deserving of the treatments of those times, and today can be liken to the past because as free citizens our permission is not being sought for the treatments reserved for each of us.

If there is one country in the world where its citizens will demand a referendum than perhaps that country is Australia.
At the very least, we will show the world that Australians do not so easily succumb to a siege mentality without publicly debating their options.

Chiming in. Just now reading this series.

I remember my Mom wisely telling me When you hear the Chicken Littles saying The sky is falling, don’t believe them. Don’t worry. There have always been some, especially around the turn of a century, as proved true just before 2000 turned.

I also remember a real estate course, this really amuses me! where we joked around and laughed out loud, as if it could never happen, saying Next thing you know, they’ll be selling air!

In light of the recent expose on the “science” of AGW being falsified and/or suppressed, I recently read a new euphemism for AGW; “Mann-made Global Warming”. (FYI: Dr Mann was one of the (alleged) scientists “eye-ball deep” in the conspiracy to falsify data.)

Yes, the data was both flawed and then falsified.

Yes, the so called “science” was conducted in a shoddy and dishonest manner, and

Yes, the media is in cahoots with the dishonest politicians behind it all….

But that all pales in comparison to the BIGGEST part if the BIG lie, which is that:

WARMING isn’t BAD……… Warming is GOOD !

If the AGW discussion had based itself on science, rather than politics, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Science does NOT support the myth of “Gore-Bull Smarming”. (aka: Uncle Al’s Carbon Credit Scam) The politics (including the now revealed falsifying of data and illegal destruction of data, requested by the British Freedom of Information Act) are what has driven this myth to the quasi-accepted general opinion it now enjoys. Notice how few Lame Stream Media outlets are reporting about the hacked e-mails, proving the “science” was grossly manipulated to fit the “scientist’s” preconceived notions? Ice core studies have shown that temperature fluctuations have occurred continuously over our planet’s history. Actual (repeatable) scientific studies have shown that CO2 rises FOLLOW temprature rises, the exact opposite of the AGW’s arbitrary pronouncements! If the AGW crowd actually had “good science” behind their “doom&gloom” predictions, why do they staunchly refuse to release enough info for other scientists to confirm their conclusions??? If their “science” was SO incontrovertable, why do they need to destroy data or arbitrarily change their figures to get their “science” to agree with their conclusions? True science is freely distributed and other scientists’ re-examination either confirms or contradicts that science. The AGW “scientists” consistantly REFUSE to conform with this time-honored tradition to confirm their “science”! Politics is the only conclusion which would explain the AGW crowd’s adversion to test their myth. Science shows no bias, science is facts, repeatable by other experts in that field. The AGW wants their shoddy science to be arbitrarily accepted, without peer review, and is hell-bent to ruin those who would disagree!
Has anyone else noticed that TV is now showing multiple shows about what the earth would be like, after man became extinct? Propagandizing for the “sustainable population” that should be allowed to save our planet???
