Leftism is faith-based and as such is a secular religion beyond rational discourse and shot-through with hypocrisy (its notorious Double Standard; moral relativism; situational ethics,etc.). The Left is nothing it claims to be and everything it projects onto conservatives (bigoted, intolerant, censorious, anger-ridden). Thanks David - you've outdone yourself with this piece. They are smart enough to see through him but it doesn't matter he's an effective vehicle for them, a symbiotic relationship. Bill Clinton's a useful sleaze. I read that Stalin didn't like the traitors in other countries that worked for "The cause", he thought they were idiots, he had to be convinced by those around him - he allowed to live - that they were useful hence the term "Useful Idiots". I know Hillary and many of those like her aren't idiots at all. These people are hardcore realists who know that achieving their goals won't be easy. There might be bloodshed, - they'd probably rather not - but what's a little blood when the goal is heaven on earth after all it will only apply to a few unreasonable people. But It's more complicated then that and where this great plan falters, the left considers themselves shepherd and the rest of us sheep we need them and for now anyway they need the us, our votes anyway. We're purchased with catch phrases that take advantage of our hatreds, ignorance, and stupidity especially stupidity. However it's understood they wouldn't live the way we the proletariat are expected to live. How would you define those who have been fooled by this rhetoric, who aren't aware or don't care about the grand goals of the hard left? Are these people "Useful Idiots" to the "Useful Idiots"? How is it the Hard left that disdains capitalism is supported by wealthiest capitalists on earth? The answer might be in order to have a productive working class they must be kept happy, content, and ignorant. The next questions I would ask are who's using who? And who will turn on who first?
