To think that there is more truth reported in today's PRAVDA than in the NY Times! It still mystifies me how even the most diehard libtards can watch the leftist TV media and still claim that there is little, if any, bias. I keep running over imaginery conversations with some very nice and long-standing libtard friends who are totally in the tank (or toilet, depending on one's view of the situation) and who would deny vehemently that there is any bias. I think nothing short of a Presidential announcement or an on-air confession by the newsreaders themselves would shake their misguided beliefs!

I really think the entire argument about who is right/left is silly and assumes that everyone watching news is incapable of thought and discernment that there might be a slant to the reporting. The argument also assumes that everyone watching Fox is not also checking other sources for news, including the internet. The real problem with all television news sources is they assume the ignorance of the audience and assume they are the prime source of news.

It is true that CNN and MSNBC, and especially MSNBC, fail to pick up perfectly legitimate news stories or downplay their significance for ideological reasons. The ACORN corruption scandal, which did not simply being in 2009, was either entirely ignored or barely covered by CNN AND MSNBC. FNC nutured the story and brought it to fruition. Even 20 years ago, most of the major networks would have probably given ACORN at least some substantive coverage, especially with the nature of the audio and visual record those young amateur reporters. However, this was not the case. The cover given was belated and grudging by the major outlets. What has journalism come to when only ideologically comforting reporting and analysis are permitted by the major media outlets? Are CNN, MSNBC, and the others incapable of going against their own ideological grain, even if it means declining viewership and public trust?

It's amusing actually. The Liberals don't know what to make out of a balanced media group that breaks the news more often than they do. Nor do they know what to make out of fellow liberals that willingly work for the enemy.

[...] Beck’s show on Fox News are down: …the ironclad Beltway CW this week has been that the White House’s decision to fact-check Fox News has been a huge tactical mistake, partly because it will simply spike Fox News’ ratings. [...]
