Another White House advisor: 'We kind of agree with Mao'
"Manufacturing Czar" Ron Bloom
Much has been made about White House Communications Director Anita Dunn’s description of the murderous dictator Mao Zedong as one of her “favorite political philosophers.”
Now comes word that another Obama insider has been quoting Mao approvingly. A video shot at a 2008 Union League Club meeting in New York shows “manufacturing czar” Ron Bloom telling his audience:
We know that the free market is nonsense. (…) We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.
He has a long history of being the negotiating face of unions in a suit. He is a Harvard Business School graduate who has worked for the unions beginning with [the Service Employees International Union] SEIU for decades.
And of course, the SEIU boasts almost 2 million members, has ties to disgraced “community organizers” ACORN, and contributes millions of dollars to Democratic Party candidates.
Most recently, SEIU thugs were taped assaulting an Obamacare opponent at a town hall meeting.
Bloom’s approving citation of Mao comes as no surprise. Other SEIU bigwigs have boasted about the longstanding ties between the Union and the Communist Party:
At a March 2007 meeting, Local 1199’s executive vice president Steve Kramer spoke enthusiastically about the role which the Communist Party USA played in building up his union. When the Communist Party split in 1991, several Local 1199 officials took many comrades into the breakaway group, Committees of Correspondence. One of those officials, Rafael Pizarro, also went on to help found the New Party, a Marxist organization that Barack Obama joined in Chicago in 1995.
So far, Media Matters hasn’t revved up their spin machine to deal with this revelation, as they did with the Dunn video. Stay tuned.

I guess that means if one agrees with Bloom’s agreement with Mao, then it is only logical to assume that it is OK to put the barrel of a gun to the heads of people such as Bloom in order to achieve power.

Seems to me that this is a fair statement to make.
I know plenty of conservatives and Libertarians that would agree with this statement of fact. Unions themselves know very well from their history how Government has backed Corporate interests in order to violently crush the right of American individuals to form unions and collectively bargain.

what ever happened to the patrionage after 9-11, we had our first chance then but let it slide by. opportunity has knocked this one more time. Lets answer with all our might and not let the anti-american sentimentalists that run this country forget that we are watching. we the american public can and will remove these anti americans from office for the paper that they are so veheminatly destrorying gives us the right to fire them by simply voting them out! keep the movement alive ! take back the government! vote the circus out of office and put us back on the track that our forefathers fought and died to create! We must again become a government that is truely of the people, that is for the people, by the people.

Actually, I didn’t agree that the free market is nonsense. I quoted a different statement, and then made a statement about it. So, you are deceptive in your attribution of that position to me.
And yes, I’ve been to Conservative, right-leaning, and Libertarian communities (mostly on LJ), and have had many many good discussions with Conservatives and others at those locations. Based on your attitude, you don’t welcome anybody that disagrees with your position to come to your forums and discuss. I guess I should welcome this, as it helps to marginalize you, and turn off folks that welcome other points of view.
