What’s not generally known about this is that it’s based on an actual historical incident! But the artist was Paolo Veronese, and he appeared before the Inquisition. They did object to extraneous elements in his “Last Supper” and advised him to change them. And he really did just rename it (to “Feast in the House of Levi”)!
