I too have encountered that trait however that is not the mission of "the church"; and from my experience not well organized. Also, the encounters I've had with church people is disappointment that so many people show up asking for help; not because they need help, but because the "government" isn't doing more to help them. I don't want to do it through the church for the sole reason that I believe that a decent % of democratic voters, vote that way because they're put off by the religious right... The numbers may be smaller than I thing... but they're there, & there's no question about it... If we show the simple rational and logical reasons why the free market will always create FAR MORE prosperity than any other system, we'll attract more people to the right path...
