You can say what you want about George Bush, but he kept us safe for all these years after 9/11. All the resources he put in place just this past month stopped an attack on America. George Bush never just listened to politicians, he listened to the Generals in the fields. He never Apologized for America. He was a proud American and made us all remember why we were also.
You know we can't talk to people like you either, how do you know this man you elected should be allowed to be president? Why has he spent over one million dollars keeping his Long Form Birth Certificate hidden? Do you know any other President that refused to prove he was an American? Do you know any other person that spent that kind of money to hide his records, I don't. The only reason I can see is he has something to hide, and what could that be?

No I don't want the government to take care of me, I just want them to listen and take into consideration what the people want that put them in office. All America wants is honesty from our people in government. We want transparency, truth, honesty, and the guts to protect us, instead of making America look week. America is not week neither are our military we do not want our hands tied behind our men and women backs like Vietnam. Because we can win and keep America safe.
We do want CZARS in our White House, We do not want a President of the US to apologize for us. America does not need to apologize to anyone. What countries need to understand, America will not start anything with you, unless you intend to hurt America like 9/11 or go after our Alies. If you start something, America will kick ass and end it. America does not need to apologize.
The problem is this man in the oval office should never have been elected. He is not qualified for the job. He has the wrong outlook and intends to make America not what the American people want. He's making us look week, not able to make hard decisions. Leaves our troops that our fightening over in Afghanistan out on a limb. He needs to send troops HIS man who he put in is requesting. Instead he is taking his time to decide. Lack of leadership is not what America needs.
Actually we have a Senator who went against the US Military years ago and we have him in as a Senator. We have a corrupt administration that we will be taking care of shortly. Senators think we will forget or we are joking. Huge mistake on there part.
But no America does not want to be taken care of, all we want is a government we can trust and be proud of. Right now neither we can say.

omg did you just say that America should take care of you?

As in Government should take care of you? Have you lost your mind? THat's the last thing we need!

Sarah Palin does not believe in government control - remember her Husband wants to help Alaska separate from the US.

And I don't know about you, but I don't want my children growing up, as I did, in the age of the Vietnam War, the Cold War, MLK, the unstable middle-east, et al. Thank you but no thank you.

ah. yes there is much tearing down of the walls of hate and ignorance that your almighty leader, George W, built.

In the end freedom rang through to the hearts and brains of millions of free Americans who know our country is destined for better than what your failed policies have to offer.

Your idea of freedom is no more than willful subjugation to those who believe in falsities of origins of life (religion), ignore the planet on which that life originated and its blatant signs of trauma that we've caused, and want nothing more than to have more than another (you don't realize but that's you too) at their cost all for their ego.

Your willing to stake my livelihood and freedom for your silly goal to be lead ignorantly. That's not going to fly, and the majority of Americans agree with me. Furthermore your 'conservative movement' has no base. There is no clear policy message -- you are constantly contradicting itself. The one thing that does shine through: you're like a racist 2 yr old that dropped his pacifier in the toilet.

Honestly, i shouldn't be objecting and trying to speak reason -- because your path will only lead you and your kind to a fate worse than your precious wealth can save you from.

This country should be so lucky to have Sarah Palin as President. One thing we would know right off the bat, we would have the truth come out of her office. We also would know that corruption would be ushered out the door. Sarah would take no bull, and demand accountability. I don't know who the VP would be, but I can guarantee she would make sure he was as honest as she was. I have one so far that I think would be great, but will hold my opinion until a later date.
For those Americans who value our country and all it stands for, make sure come election time that we take out the trash in Washington in 2010, then in 2012 we finish the job.
Don't let up, let Sarah Palin know our feelings about her running. Keep our eyes on the ball. We must take America back, so our children and there children can live in an America like we did. One that was being taken care of by the people we put into office, a group that would listen to the people. Remind your representatives that they work for us and not to forget it.

I see where we have a couple trolls on site - which is funny, because by their ignorant & foolish comments, they give themselves away! Why even both to talk to them?

Who knows what direction our Republic will take in the next 2 to 4 years? Suffice to say, a Conservative Movement is well under way. We will begin with victories in the House & Senate in 2010. 2012 is HUGE question mark; but other than Sarah Palin, who else on the GOP side is even on the (realistic) horizon?

Sarah is a true force with which to be reckoned - no matter the outcome in 2012. Just as Goldwater's candidacy - but ultimate defeat - actually ushered in a new paradim in American politics (culminating with Reagan's victory in 1980), Palin has given this generation an inspiration to grow & prosper. She has already made her mark; whether or not she ever gains the WH, her straightforward and honest style and substance will be a MODEL for all future Conservative candidates. She is already the pivotal point in Conservatives' regaining - for years & years to come - the political leadership in this country. THEY will be the ones who roll back ALL the Obamanations inflicted on the USA! This may take generations, but our children & grandchildren will thank US - the future "greatest generation!"

joeb

"so … you’re either purporting that you can make money from nothing … you know, like perpetual motion (that’s not possible – hope you knew that) … or you understand that you making more money necessarily increases your effect on society (you do it for the ego boost right? that’s not a surprise), but you’re unwilling to come to terms with the fact that it should necessarily also increase your liability?"

It's clear that you simply don't understand the nature of wealth... "we can't make money from nothing?" Maybe you can't, but the rest of us do (those who work, not the parasites)...

I buy a piece of land, and with some basic tools, I can take some of the rocks and trees on the property, and build a home for myself there. After I've done so, the property is worth far more with the home on it.. the difference in value is the WEALTH WHICH I CREATED.

And you claim that by doing so, I've increased my LIABILITY ?

WTF liability are you talking about ?

As long as I pay my fair share of the costs of running the legitimate functions of the government, I don't owe anyone anything other than honesty and fair dealings...

From what you say, it seems like you're a marxist... if so, GET THE HELL OUT OF MY COUNTRY !
