What is needed is the all too uncommon quality of common sense: a free and strong press, on the one hand, and a sensitivity to the Realpolitik of the dangerous world we live in. Those who pretend to accountabiity in all things lay themselevs open to charges of hypocrisy as soon as they react to disclosures on matters concerning themselves. This is the problem with whats going on here in the West: We have these nutjobs blowing their own children up and we watched 3000+ innocent Americans blown to hell on 9/11, but somehow they make sure that the common denominator in all attacks around the world is LEFT OUT: The fact that they are all ISLAMIC. Political correctness will be the folly that kills us all. In parts of Europe the appeasment towards Islamic people has literally stripped everyone else of their free speech rights, and its coming here to America. Our present Administration and Homeland Security is so stupid that they are using Imans to help them catch terrorists (recently finding out that the Iman sold the feds out, of course) and hiring muslims to hold a great deal of authority in our own Homeland Security laws. This is like giving crazy hippie chicks authority over the laws governing crimes that Manson ordered. We are so afraid of offending someone, that we are willing to put our own selves and our kids in jeopardy by doing stupid things to appease Islam. To hell with Islam. I have no time for this crap. My child had a small silver cross torn off her neck and we still haven't gotten it back, but yet I just read a few months ago that kids went home from a public school in Mass., telling their parents that they were forced to dress up like muslims, learn and receite muslim prayers on a mat, and if they refused they would fail THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR. AMERICA HAD BETTER WAKE UP. I have no idea why feminists would be in favor of Islam anyway: do they think if we were under Sharia law that they would still be able to dress like sluts and run off to the abortion clinic? That's too nice a word for it. The woman's pubic area was smooth with no labia, only a small round opening in the skin for urination. To deliver the baby the doctor had to make a surgical incision and then was forced to restitch the area after delivery. This was a horror to have to assist as a nurse this procedure. Some of these mutilations are done with broken glass and the girls are forced to do it..both by family custom and by restraint. After this experience I researched this subject and was shocked further. In all I saw six of these women who arrived in their Burkas. I saw nothing sexy in any of this. Only horror. Oh to top it off the husband insisted we not give this first woman pain medicine. I told him when you have our first contraction we will discuss pain meds. She got hers. I rotated thru OB/GYN at Parkland Hospital where I saw first hand the results of genital mutilation. That’s too nice a word for it.
