He is, basically, anti-news and pro-self-promotion. This is the clown who said that President Obama is a racist. And Beck isn't? Rush Limbaugh has a fat radio contract (among other things) because there is a segment of this country that is ignorant, misinformed and too lazy to get the facts for themselves. Beck is popular on Fox News because the demographics of that network reflect Antebellum sentiments. They are spoon-fed hate and love the taste of it. Just because a radio personality is popular in this country certainly does NOT mean that he isn't racist, much less that what he is saying is accurate. Point in fact I think that much of the media prefers it that way, it takes a lot less skill then conducting a real interview and it puts the lefties on an equal footing since there all there is time for is a quick soundbite since the segment is capped at five minutes or so. This is when they actually have someone relevant to talk to rather the the usual panel, much of the time they don't. You only need to look at any show on CNN, any panel discussion where they need a token conservative, and can't find anyone else, they wheel out David Gergen. Does he live upstairs at the CNN studios or something? I don't even listen what he says anymore, (not that its' anything memorable anyhow) I can't stop starring at that stupid comb over. Dave, get a rug, a hair transplant, or forget it! Through self-analysis and viewing himself as a husband, father and American, responsible to G_d, he has honed a sense of wit, wisdom and honesty, and a desire to make a difference. I agree that perhaps a college education would augment his communication skills, but, I believe that he hits the nail on the head just fine with his rodeo clown approach. Being blessed with common sense and a natural appetite for self improvement I feel, are only two blocks in a solid foundation. Beck has both. Education is relevant to the road you take in life.
