Democracy Now!’s Marxists Explain the Real Reason Van Jones Resigned

With sadness probably not felt by the left since the death of Joseph Stalin, Amy Goodman and her fellow Communists at Democracy Now! offered an analysis of the events leading up to the midnight resignation of Barack Obama’s Marxist “Green Jobs Czar†Van Jones Sunday evening.
Goodman set the stage by describing Jones’ many achievements:
Jones was a longtime community organizer in the Bay Area. He is the founding president of Green for All, the co-founder of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, and the co-founder of the group Color of Change. His book The Green Collar Economy was a national bestseller. Time Magazine recently named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Such an impressive curriculum vitae certainly did not escape the notice of another former community organizer, the current occupant of the White House, Barack Obama. In March, President Obama tapped Jones to be a special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
So how come everyone didn’t live happily ever after?
The Marxists have an answer: Glenn Beck and Fox News.
The “vicious smear campaign†(Jones’ words) permeating the Fox News Channel and the relentless hammering by Glenn Beck made it impossible for Jones to do the job he was selected by the president to do:
AMY GOODMAN: … for the past month Fox News has run a series of reports on Jones’s alleged association with communists and for signing a petition calling for a congressional probe into the actions of the Bush administration around the 9/11 attacks.
An “alleged association†with communists? Nice try. These were no mere allegations, and a perusal of previous NewsReal posts on the subject will put that myth to bed.
What we will focus on here, however, is the amazing realization that Goodman and her comrades never saw this coming and were blindsided by the resignation! How could this have happened? After all, Goodman reported, Jones had apologized for calling Republicans “BLANK-holes†during a February speech. He even denied being a 9/11 “Truther.†He was even re-casting himself as a reasonable man. And yet the attacks continued, reaching critical mass when “conservative voices against his White House appointment reached a crescendo this weekend.â€
What has also shaken the Marxists is the fact that the White House let Jones use his own rope to hang himself, not raising a finger to come to his defense. This from Goodman’s interview yesterday with James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org:
AMY GOODMAN: Are you critical of the White House for not standing up for him or not accepting his resignation?
JAMES RUCKER: Yeah, I am. And the reason is, Beck himself has said, and Fox has made clear, that they will go on such witch hunts if they can keep doing it. And when you have—when you respond to what Beck has done by essentially trying to be silent, it doesn’t work. And when you respond by allowing your folks to leave, it’s basically not only rewarding bad behavior, it also sends a message that, hmmm, maybe something was wrong with Van Jones, which I know that the administration doesn’t think. I think everyone who knows Van who understands the situation doesn’t think that.
Glenn Beck, Fox News (and, of course NewsReal) are guilty of one thing: they gave the country the truth about Van Jones. And in this case, the truth has set us free.
This is no victory. Van Jones is a grain of sand on an entire beach of corruption, filth, treachery and radical intention. He will be replaced by a hundred more Marxists. Indeed, Mr. Jones isn’t going anywhere. Why does he need a mere title to function as a revolutionary? He will still get the job done.
Americans, you have put the gun to your head and pulled the trigger. In the world of slow motion suicide, you are now waiting only for death to travel down the length of the barrel to greet you.

What blows me away is the incredulousness of some cable tv heads (O’Reilly, for one) that continue to give Obama the benefit of the doubt. Mr. Obama knew exactly who Van Jones was, and exactly who the rest of the pond scum in his inner circle are too. It’s eerily similar to the hapless Germans who said that “Hitler didn’t know” what was going on in the Third Reich.
Even if James Rucker and Amy Goodman “got it” that Jones is a Communist, 9/11 Bush did it believer, and racist radical that he is…they wouldn’t think there was anything wrong with Van Jones; he’s just like them. That’s why they are so incredulous…that he resigned for being so “normal” and Republicans/Conservatives took issue with a normal kinda guy.

As with Bill Clinton, the Democratic Left’s mantra has gone on unabated. Character doesn’t matter, nor do past or even present associations. As long as someone of the left hasn’t been arrested and convicted they are innocent victims of conservative and Republican smears, and even if they have been arrested it was due to a right-wing conspiracy.
Mr. Obama, who has yet to prove his eligibility for the presidency according to the Constitution, has been associated with socialists, Communists, radicals, and terrorists throughout his life from birth, beginning with his socialist mother. He has run on a communist party ticket for office and has chosen to appoint many advisors who are at best very liberal Democrats and some who’re extreme leftists and Marxists. Yet he insists it’s unfair for the loyal opposition to even imply that he may be a a socialist. Instead we’re ignorant extreme right-wing racists and fascists. As everyone knows, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be a pig. So Van Jones was just one of many troublesome appointments. Sotomayor was another.
Perhaps part of the problem is the penchant of liberals and leftists to change the definition of words, to simply ignore inconvenient facts, and to demonize the opposition. Therefore those who believe in a democratic Republic under the rule of constitutional law as defined by our Founding Fathers must stand firm to the point if necessary of dusting off the Declaration of Independence and taking it to heart with a vengeance, keeping in mind the real reason for the Second Amendment as defined by Thomas Jefferson. If standing up for the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence is extremism, so be it.
As with Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly, and Limbaugh, the left would have been intolerant of Jefferson, Adams, Paine, and Revere. This administration and its supporters stated goal is an economic model in which the state dictates the utilization of privately held assets to achieve public policy goals. By the way, this is a good definition of fascism, author unknown.
So unless we resist as the loyal opposition, loyal to the Constitution, not to any particular party, we might as well greet each other by Sieg Heil Comrade, buy prayer rung and learn the direction to Mecca in the East, and learn Spanish and the meaning of “Por La Raza Todo, Fuera de La Raze nada.” in the West.
Beck brought to the attention of the American people the radical leftist roots of this administration by focusing on Jones. A bit of reality to counter the effects of a multi-million dollar “astroturf” marketing campaign. Jones will simply continue his work as a sub contracted employee with less public scrutiny. The left is focusing on Jones’ resignation as a rallying cry to shore up the waivering moderates of their party. They will use this as “evidence” the “right wing racists” are on the offensive and distract the masses from Beck’s true goal, the ADMINISTRATION as a whole being exposed for what it is. We cannot lose site of this fact. Jones was not a target, he was a chink in the armor of this marketing machine. As more of the radical “iceberg” is exposed, the venomous media attacks will worsen. Well organized slander campaigns and egregious fact omissions by the news outlets will be much worse than they already are. Can we resist?
As a follow up. Be wary of “fakts” presented by Neo-communists. Research the sources. Much like to scrubbing of Van Jones’ record, Damning information is disappearing from the internet and being replaced with more conservative “perceptions” of past events. It’s a sick mind that will change facts to favor an argument.
Obama is not openly radical and he is our president.
From that veiwpoint, Obama is our president and deserves a chance to prove himself.
Maybe, Bill O’Reilly hopes he comes to his senses which will save us all a lot of grief.
