The posts here in the comments section prove your point with their lousy grammar and bad spelling. The America they grew up with was not so great for a lot of Americans. What Liberals understand is that it's possible to love America, fight for her and still see the distance between what she is and what she can be. Conservatives always seem to want to go back, back to some idyllic day when the white man ruled, his wifey stood in the kitchen and cooked and the kiddies wore short pants and played Varsity. Complexity gives these guys a headache which is why Bush and his ilk almost single-handedly destroyed this economy and our reputation in the world (yeah, I know, you guys don't care about the "world" . . . ya know, that place where we live?).. One stat I come back to time and again and ya'll can look it up (if you were smart enough to) is that according to stats that the government openly keeps, Democratic Presidents have created more jobs and more prosperity than Republican Presidents over the last 30 years. Carter, the Right's whipping-boy, actually created more jobs in a downturn than Reagan did in a comparable time period. But those are facts, not some Conservative wet dream which is where the Right resides these days. Keep up the good work Keith. After reading this dialog I have only one thing to say, what a bunch of dumb bastards. How does pulling your child out of school one day equate to flipping burgers at Burger King? Also if the children of conservatives and Republicans are improperly educated, are not making it into college, and are attending public schools, who's fault is that? Who dominates the public school system. I have carried on discussions with a few "Liberals" and I haven't found many where critical and objective thinking was their strongest suit. Most were overly emotional, irrational, contradictory, and believed in some of the most clam baked ideas and conspiracies I have ever heard of. Worst of all very few seemed to take a very adolescent view of life, if anything went wrong it was always someone else's fault. If this is representative of the "educated" and "scientific" classes in American society I can say, as a Canadian, that you are in very serious trouble my dear cousins.
