Personally, I’m sick and tired of making elaborate cases for conservative positions — without eliciting a single coherent leftist reply. You might check out the debate Ben Johnson and I attempted to stimulate over our book Party of Defeat We got a hundred (literally) “no thanks” from the editors of Salon, Slate, American Prospect, New Republic, and so forth, and half a dozen so lame responses from those who did reply.
