It is a matter of respect earned by caring for other's rights to exist harmoniously. See, you've got me preaching, but it worked for me. Don't let the Left's hijacking of the term "racist" for their own purposes discourage us from pointing out the real racists (which will be found at both the extremes of Right and Left.) Back in the early 1970s in my high school history class, this was a big deal as I and most of my classmates are Italian. When I eventually learned who these two were, I became very angry at how we were lied to in school.
