"for the children" and "the elderly" and all things that sound good on their face. But what is more inefficient than a government agency disbursing funds? I heard that one of your government agencies required $1.16 to distribute $1.00 to qualified persons. And yet if your people do not willingly pay these taxes they are villified and smeared by their representatives on TV. Amazing! As for Mr. B. Frank (I don't think he speaks English that I learned), there is something evil about a man who can bring down financial ruin on your country and still retain his power. Why are you not prosecuting him? I don't understand you Americans. I don't know a lot about him, but his communications are convoluted and he "double talks" constantly. How does he get back into power at each election? This is a misquote and out of context of scripture. Gen 4:9 states "Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?" (ESV). Note this is to Cain after he murdered Abel. So does Obama's misquote really make since and is something he should scripturally base his argument on? 2) This point deals with all things of entitlement. Let's look at 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11 "For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies." This should tell us we do not give things to people simply because they are breathing, but because they are laboring/toiling for it. I will state, some can labor from "can to can't" and still need assistance. To this I say "WHERE IS THE CHURCH?!" not the government. 3) To dovetail off of point 2, lets look at James 1:27 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." Who is this written to, or shall I say applicable to? Christians not the governement. Or to state it differently - is our religion in God or in government? We as the body of Christ should be doing this, not the governement. So my question again is "WHERE IS THE CHURCH?!" Part of our problem in this Nation is the Church, the Body of Christ has abdicated her responsiblities to the government and sold her soul to secularism rather that to Christ and Christ alone. I say this in general, not to individual people or churches.
