Please reconsider how you define just what it is the "left" represent. Remember that there are those who would hijack any movement for their own personal gain, and this is the case on both ends of the political spectrum. Violence and questionable tactics are rampant in both camps, and certainly are not exclusive to either. I have an issue with the notion that all of the left movement is merely pot smoking violent teenagers who would kill every american just to have a communist society. Violence is actually one of the left's biggest issue with the world today, and most of them don't support violent rebellion or actions for it is counterrevolutionary as well as counterproductive from a human evolution stance. If we are to unify this world and create a space where our children have more opportunities to live and grow to their full potential then we absolutely must stop this useless bickering about who is right, and imposing our own ideologies onto world events, missing the true nature of what is really going on on this planet. We need to have a new appreciation for FACTS. It is the only way we will ever reach a kinder world, a kinder world that is not simply "utopian" but at least marginally better than the sad societies of war and torture, rape and economic exploitation, wage slavery and corporate dominance in governing bodies. WAR IS NOT HUMAN NATURE. IT IS NOT WRITTEN IN STONE THAT WE MUST DEFEND OURSELVES FROM OURSELVES. Any conversation about "progress" or "peace" is immediately void if it does not include the cooperation and respect of all those involved, locally, nationally and worldwide. There can be no progress if we don't learn to love our neighbors instead of owning them. All of you. Please reconsider how you define just what it is the "left" represent.
