How dare you stand there accusing those who work to better themselves as being evil capitalists and fascists. You’re the fascist, and you admit it every time you advocate that some of us should be forced at the point of a gun to pay for the unearned benefit of others.

My moral values are simple. I believe in freedom, and the idea that a man should be free to work to better his life and that of his children without having to worry about some scumbag looter like you always picking his pockets. Try sticking your hand in my pocket and I’ll cut the damn thing off and shove it up your ass.

You say that “civilized” countries all have Single Payer healthcare. Many do, and the citizens of each and every one of them have been shouting their warnings us not to do it because it sucks, but you’re so sure that you’re right and everyone else is wrong, that you can’t see or hear any of that.

You ask what I’ve done for my country. I enlisted in the Marine Corps over 40 years ago because I wanted to do my part in the war against communism. I put my life at risk so that turds like you who bite the hand that feeds them would have the right to spout your bullshit. Since then, I’ve been creating wealth by building homes. To simplify the concept in the hope that some portion of it will sink into your twisted and perverted mind, here’s what that means. I buy a piece of land at its fair market value. I buy materials at their fair market value, & I hire labor at its fair market value, and what I have when I’m done is worth far more than the cost of the elements that went into the finished product. The difference between its final value and my cost of building it is wealth that I created. In doing so, in pursuit of a profit, I provide jobs for quite a few skilled workers. The materials I buy generate jobs for the people who produce them. I don’t rip off or exploit anyone, and according to my moral standards and political philosophy, as long as I pay my fair share of the costs of running essential government services, I should be free to keep what’s left. It’s called the profit motive, and it’s what made this country so rich and great.

You curse people like me because you know that you’re a failure who can’t pay his own way, and you’re jealous of those of us who can.

You’re not a capitalist, you’re just a whining parasite who’s looking for someone else to blame for your own shortcomings and failures as a man.

People like you try to enslave the people who feed you, and then, when they tell you to piss off and take care of yourself, rather than going to work, you eat the seed corn, and then blame people like me when you have nothing left to eat. As far as I’m concerned you should eat shit and die.

All of you far left assholes call Ayn Rand a fascist, and none of you have ever read her works. Ayn Rand’s entire philosophy is based one simple premise, that the freedom of every individual is sacrosanct, and that it cannot be sacrificed for anyone or any purpose, and that includes the “good of the people”, because if the individual isn’t free, then the group can never be free.

You’re just another pathetic excuse for a human being who feeds off the hard work of others. You cloak yourself in an aura of righteousness by conning people into thinking that you speak for some sort of made up bullshit superior being. You’re a member of the oldest and least productive profession in the history of mankind, and yet you sit there and pass judgment on others who do contribute to the good of all.

You think that anyone who works for a profit is evil and greedy, again biting the hand that feeds you. Americans are the most generous people in the world. Almost all of the great capitalists, like Carnegie, Rockefeller and Gould gave huge portions of their wealth to charitable causes. Even their modern equivalents today do the same thing as evidenced by Bill Gates who’s giving tens of billions of dollars of his fortune to charitable causes. What do people on the far left do with their money? The spend it on supporting their lavish lifestyles. Go compare the record of charitable giving by the left’s favorite billionaire George Soros, to that of Warren Buffett, who recently gave almost 40 billion dollars, over 90% of his fortune to charity.

What the hell have you ever done other than bullshit people, and yourself into thinking that you’re a real man ?

I’m not a rich man, but I’ve always taken care of my family and paid my taxes. I don’t give money to conventional charities, because most of them are run by parasites like you who feed off the money they collect. Instead I sponsor a scholarship for gifted young people to study classical music at places like Julliard. I do it in honor of my mother, who was a gifted cellist who brought lots of joy into many peoples lives.

So piss off !

People like you don’t count in the real world because you contribute nothing and think you’re hot shit. You’re not. You’re just plain shit.

Oh yeah John Davidson. We wouldn't want anyone exercising their first amendment constitutional rights, now would we? Only when they have opinions we agree with!

Swemson, you know what pucker up and plant a big kiss right on my left asscheek buddy. Because that's what I think of arrogant, delusional Ayn Rand rightwing bombthrowers like yourself.

There's never been a free market in this country. Need I explain why? Let's see there are certain institutions that are socialized: medicare, social security, libraries, military, police and fire departments, etc. There are things like unions, non-profits and special interest groups that don't have the sole intent of maximizing profits in mind and are not capitalist. There are things like tax breaks for the rich, subsidies to small and big business and corporate welfare (which we've had way too much of lately.). Corporate Welfare and bailouts for Big Business are more akin to Corporatism/Fascism than it is socialism. And then there's the buying off of our government by rightwing moneymen, Wall Street tycoons and multinational corporations that have no allegiance to any government. (What's gone on with 10 million+ mostly living wage jobs being outsourced from the United States.)

Swemson, what are your moral values? Do you have any despite that you think you and your corporate buddies should be free to pick everyone's pockets? Or is your entire spirituality made up of Rand's toxic mix of greed and materialism for people who lie and cheat their way to the top?

I'm a capitalist Swemson. It just so happens i'm a real, level-headed capitalist who realizes we need checks and balances in our system (and every other civilized country has Single-Payer healthcare - it helps out businesses, individuals and makes for a stable economy; why shouldn't we?) or else the "invisible hand" of the free market your delusional heroes talk about will devour the capitalists, middle class, working stiffs and everything in such a capitalist system.

And I gave my income and ran up several thousand dollars of debt fighting quite right for fair pay for 400 workers who had a union that wasn't representing them when I was wrongfully fired by one of your favorite multinationals, AT&T. I put my ass on the line for my beliefs. (Still waiting for an arbitration and the justice I deserve for having been fired illegally)

What the hell have you done for people Swemson besides going on the internet and spouting libertarian BS? Do you believe in a minimum wage or like Greenspan, do you believe we'd be better off returning to the Middle Ages and having a permanent peasant class? Because things are so out-of-whack now - that's the path we're headed down. Just look at the unemployment numbers, the number of people in the U.S. with no healthcare, how much incomes have stagnated compared to inflation the last 30 years and then there's that whole "elephant in the room" of our national debt. If China decides to quit paying for all our spending, you and I both know we're screwed buddy.

Face facts Swemson. Your idea of a "free market" handed down by the Grand Creator is an Orwellian fantasy and nothing but.

It usually does, because idiots like you can't learn from the mistakes previously made by others.

You damn capitalism, and those who produce wealth, because in your childlike mind, you don't even understand the nature of wealth itself. What you don't know, and refuse to see, is that every single aspect of capitalism that you decry, is caused not by the mechanism of the free market, but by intervention into the free market by power hungry politicians who don't give a rat's ass about the people. They have just about ruined this country with political agenda of buying the votes of those who consume more than they produce by promising to give them things that they don't have, and which they can only deliver by stealing from those who produce more than they consume.

As Ayn Rand pointed out over 50 years ago, people like you see wealth as something that exists in a static quantity in the universe, which in your simplistic mind has been unfairly distributed amongst the population, with a few rich people, who you always think of as exploiters of the common workers, having the lion's share, and the common folks having next to nothing. That was in fact the case in czarist Russia, and in France before their revolution, but with some exceptions in other countries, it no longer is true in America. You don't understand that there's a difference between political and economic power. Political power is the power of the negative. "Give me your money or I'll throw you in jail." Economic power is the power of the positive "Work harder and more efficiently and you'll make more money."

You don't understand that wealth is created, for the simple reason that you've never participated in the process. True believers on the left see themselves as modern day reincarnations of Robin Hood, as benefactors of the poor. Unfortunately, they equate the hard working, innovative, ambitious, and successful members of our society who are responsible for creating the vast majority of America's wealth with the evil aristocrats from the Robin Hood legend, who actually did steal their wealth from the people. They don't understand, again, as Ayn Rand pointed out, that "production comes before distribution". They don't understand, as Margaret Thatcher said, that "the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money"

It's not psychobable you sanctimonious parasite. It's fact. You think that you're superior because you want to help the poor, but you want to do so with money you steal from the people who earned it. What you're advocating is slavery, and from your user name, I doubt that your boss would approve of your philosophy. If you want to hold yourself up as some sort of holy man, try helping the poor with money that you've earned yourself, but to do that, you're going to have to find yourself a real job.. one that's involved in the creation of wealth.. one that's productive. As a clergyman, you're simply a professional con man & bullshitter, and like it or not, fewer and fewer people believe the crap that you peddle every year.

Winston Churchill said: "If you're not a liberal when you're young you have no heart, & if you're not a conservative when you're old, you have no brain!"

It's time you grew up !

You think that you’re superior because you want to help the poor, but you want to do so with money you steal from the people who earned it. What you’re advocating is slavery, and from your user name, I doubt that your boss would approve of your philosophy. If you want to hold yourself up as some sort of holy man, try helping the poor with money that you’ve earned yourself, but to do that, you’re going to have to find yourself a real job.. one that’s involved in the creation of wealth.. one that’s productive. As a clergyman, you’re simply a professional con man & bullshitter, and like it or not, fewer and fewer people believe the crap that you peddle every year.

Winston Churchill said: “If you’re not a liberal when you’re young you have no heart, & if you’re not a conservative when you’re old, you have no brain!”

It’s time you grew up !

Wow Swemson it's interesting you believe that psychobabble because I think we are fighting for our democracy, too. Only it's not socialism/communism/marxism that's the enemy it's Corporatism, which if you ever study Germany & Italy in the mid-20th century, it came first in those countries before Fascism.

Honestly, we're doing a great job destroying ourselves right now! Who needs bin Laden - when we've got Wall Street and a government bought and paid for by K-Street that's ushering us toward Germany in the 1920s with hyper-inflation and totally de-valued currency!

So righties, I'll give ya that much. You're right on the spending issue. But there are many structural problems besides that we're bankrupt: rigged trade policies that favor profiteers and lazy crony capitalists and fuck over workers, everywhere, not just here...awful healthcare system that throws patients and taxpayers to the wolves...unionbusting that's been going on for 40 YEARS and resulted in the United States now having similar unionization rates to the Guilded Age where damn near everyone was poor!!!

Hmmmn...history couldn't be repeating itself. Could it?

Where the hell did anyone get the idea that the people have a "right" to health care ?

With a relatively small % of the people paying the bulk of tax revenues, the only way that the government can provide health care is by forcing the most productive members of society to pay for it.

When a small minority is forced to work for the unearned benefits of others, that's called slavery.

The only rights we have, are the rights to "Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness"

The right to "pursue our own happiness" however, is a meaningless concept if we're not free to keep the fruits of our labors.

We didn't have an election last November, we were victims of a bloodless communist coup d'etat.

The health care system this administration wants to put into place is blatantly unconstitutional as are virtually all of its previous programs and actions. They couldn't care less about the good of the people, it's all about our new communist messiah's unquenchable thirst for more and more power.

American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison.. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another.. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company.. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

As Dr. Adrian Rogers said: "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
