Senator Stabenow can "feel" global warming when she's flying
It’s enough to make this particular female long for the repeal of the 19th Amendment…
Senator Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.) has a history of saying and doing silly things, like announcing “that she would conduct hearings and have radio station owners subpoenaed to testify so that the Senate could determine why people tune in Rush Limbaugh and tune out Air America,” the self-identified “liberal” radio station.
And then there was the time she voted to extend Social Security benefits to illegal aliens.
But Debbie Stabenow has outdone herself with her latest declaration. As Sean Hannity reported on his FOX News program last night, Stabanow told the Detroit News last Monday:
“Climate change is very real. Global warming creates volatility. I feel it when I’m flying. The storms are more volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes.â€
Here’s what’s really scary, at least to those of us with both feet on the ground: Stabenow sits on the Senate Energy Committee.
Stabenow (who is not trained in meteorology or any other “hard” science, but has a Masters Degree in Social Work) won’t be troubled by such unpleasant “feelings” much longer. Congress has just approved nearly $500 million to purchase new Gulfstream G550 luxury business jets to ferry its members around.
With all that rich leather seating and those state-of-the-art flat screen tvs to distract her, she’ll likely forget all about the evils of global warming. And a good thing too:Â best not to dwell on the fact that those jets Stabenow will be using reportedly consume $3,000 of fuel per hour, and cough out loads of C02.

But I know the solution to that problem is simple. Vote the idiots out of office and send them back to the dens of incoherency and idiocy from whence they came.

Here we have to do it by back dooring legislation because most of the government workers are good little radical statist drones. Our press have become an appendage of the State. Universal health care allows them to control when we die now as well. Abortion of course is promptly paid by tax payers.

I feel global warming each time I fly, but not from the weather, in my wallet.
And if Debbie-does-DC Stabenow, and her fearful leader, have their way, I’m going to feel the pain of global warming sooner than later…..even if it doesn’t really exist.
Oh, and that huge mouth of hers looks like it was just made for running on.
