Chris Matthews is so desperate to show how intelligent and erudite he is that he over steps his own stupidity and compounds it with his emotional response to words – just words!

He ought to call his show SOFTBALL – referring to parts of is anatomy with which he thinks!

I have so much disdain for his stupidity that I often use him as an example of where DNA went wrong. HE wishes he were as good as RUSH!!

Who can really believe a news commentator who talks about a “thrill going up (or was it down) his leg” when a politician gives a campaign speech? Who can really believe this news commentator when he compares Al Gore to Churchill? I think he needs to get an education. Rush Limbaugh is certainly a lot smarter than Chris Matthews.

I lost the small measure of respect I had for Matthews after his tearful response to Al Gore’s acknowledgement that he lost the Presidential election. If I remember correctly, Matthews described Gore’s uninspired rhetoric as majestic comparing it to Lincoln and Churchill. It’s difficult to restore credibility after that maudlin display.
