This is the problem the republicans have had for many many years. The democrats have been able to camouflage and distort their own record and obsession with race and paint the republicans in the democrats' own colors. Thereby demonizing republicans and monopolizing and dominating our political system in charge for 80+ years. How ironic that minorities such as African or Hispanic Americans identify with a party that works to keep them down. Keep them poor, ignorant, angry, and voting democrat! It's worked for them for almost 100 years. The democrats aren't going to "fix" something that's broke. That's why they'd reject accomplished minorities like Alberto Gonzalez, Clarence Thomas, Miguel Estrada, Janice Rogers Brown and accept an atrocious nominee like Sonia Sotamayor.
