Glacier Advances Disprove Global Warming

For about 100 years, scientists have been carefully measuring a particular glacier called “Perito Moreno,” one of 48 glaciers in Argentina and Chile fed by the melting snow that trickles down from the Andes mountains. And after a century of taking those measurements, one significant fact has come to light: the glacier has never read Al Gore’s ridiculous, pseudo-scientific book, Earth in the Balance.

Had it read the book, the Perito Moreno glacier would have known about “global warming.” It would have known that its politically correct duty is to decrease in size, thereby raising sea levels, threatening all life as we know it, and vindicating the author. Instead, the glacier is growing at the astounding rate of 6.6 feet per day.

“We’re not sure why this happens,” says Andres Rivera, a glacier specialist at the Centre for Scientific Studies in Valdivia, Chile. “But not all glaciers respond equally to climate change.” Interestingly, the Perito Moreno is not the only glacier that is growing. There are dozens of them (see partial list here). The Hubbard Glacier near Yakutat, Alaska, for example, is growing at an even faster rate than the Perito Moreno — 7 feet per day. This glacier is growing so fast that it will soon close the Russell Fjord, thereby creating a 30-mile-long freshwater lake (the future “Russell Lake”).

And yet, Al Gore’s pontification on the fantasy called “global warming” continues unashamedly. Just last month, for example, he told Congress that “we are, along with the rest of humanity, facing the dire and growing threat of the climate crisis.”

Gore’s real agenda here is political, not environmental. He is backing the cap-and-trade bill, a huge swindle which is being touted as a way to cut emissions, thereby reversing global warming. It will actually do nothing but make energy costs skyrocket to previously unimagined heights.

But then, Gore has never let the facts get in the way of his opinions.
